Review:Like many, many others I was captivated by Suzanne Collins's THE HUNGER GAMES. It hooked me with its pulse pounding action, nightmarish vision of the future, and most of all its strong, capable female lead and wouldn't let me go. I finished it in one sitting. Unlike many others I was less impressed with the sequels. Thankfully the books I wanted to read exist. After a very average first instalment John Marsden's TOMORROW SERIES is the series that THE HUNGER GAMES promised to be.

Review:The prologue had me going back to it numerous times. Had me stalled for a bit too. I kind of hated knowing that something really bad was going to happen at some point, but I knew Abbi wouldn't leave us heartbroken!
Poor Eva and all her loss. Cage was perfect though, and in the end he & Eva were wonderful together! Read more
Review:Now every one of my friends and family members know my obsession with Abbi glines, in fact I've gotten quite a few of them addicted too. Her writing for me is as stimulating as that first cup of coffee in the morning.
It heightens your emotions and awakens your senses.
I love it when a book has you so emotionally invested you don't want to put it down, and if you have to you end up having withdrawals and craving to be alone with it again.
Under The Lights for me was so heartbreaking an... Read more

Review:Loved the book, it was angsty and melodramatic, perfectly as teenagers are. West was facing his father's imminent death from cancer and was taking it out on everyone around. But Maggie had had it worse than him, she had watched her father kill her mother. So in sharing their bad experiences, West found strength to face his tragedy and Maggie healed from hers. It was a lovely story of two teenagers growing up thru despair, finding solace and love and consideration in each other.

Review:Until the End was such a bittersweet read. I wanted to savor it as much as I wanted to devour it! It was the perfect way to end one of my favorite series. Getting to finally hear the story of Rock and Trisha as well as getting a glance at the lives of all my favorite couples(Dewayne and Sienna made me sooooo happy!) I am very excited to read what comes next from Mrs. Glines! Read more
Review:Seriously, this book will rock your world. What you thought about that hard-edged tattooed rocker who brings endless girls home is totally wrong. This man had my heart as soon as he started realizing how his feelings were towards Blythe.
I loved Blythe. I wanted to come through the pages and give her a hug. In real life, we could be friends! I really wish we could have received more of Krit's back story... just a minor flaw. Otherwise, loved it :) Read more
Review:I love the sea breeze collection. the first book in the series was pretty tame but got me hooked and now that I have finished reading the story of Jess and Jason I'm just as hooked as I was several books ago. Abbi Glines has a way of writing these characters to make you think like they are your best friends and you find yourself really caring what happens to them. can't wait for the next book in the series! Review:I read the Vincent Brothers first so I already knew the story between Beau and Ash. I loved the story between Sawyer and Lana so I wasn't sure how I would react to this story. The love that reignited between Beau and Ash from their childhood was romantic, but I just had trouble with the way they went about it. Having said that, I still love me some YA novels and overall this one had all the ingredients to a good book - angst, desire, first loves and a HEA. I would definitely recommend. Read more
