Burn for Burn (The Burn for Burn Trilogy)
Burn for Burn (The Burn for Burn Trilogy)

Review:One word: phenomenal. This book was phenomenal! Big girls don't cry, they get even. That's what the book says, and it's true. The three girls are all for revenge, and this time, they aren't waiting for karma to strike, but they're taking matters in their own hands. The main protagonists; Lillia, Kat, and Mary are all tremendously different from each other. Each one has their own characteristics, and I guess that really made the story much more interesting to read. Each chapter is from one of the... Read more

It's Not Summer Without You
It's Not Summer Without You

Review:I read The Summer I Turned Pretty (the first book) && LOVED it. However, the sequel was somewhat of a letdown. There was really no substance to the character's relationship like in the first one. It was mainly just about trying to save the summer house after the boys mom passes away. Now, don't get me wrong, I was ALL FOR them saving the house, && glad they did. I just didn't think that was the only thing the book needed to revolve around. I think the conflict between Conrad &am... Read more

Review:I despise reading, but this book has made reading fun to me! I really enjoyed this book from the beginning. Unlike many books that are slow and have a lot of talking in the beginning I was glued to this book by the first page. Read more

Review:Reviewed by Nyx @ unraveling-words.blogspot.com

This book was actually kinda surprising. I wasn't expecting it to be so dark. This book was more about the sister's relationship than the whole psychic thing. That's not to say the psychic part was bad or anything. It was well done and I hope to see more development on that front, but the real selling point was the dynamic between the sisters.

I usually don't like when authors decide to go back and forth in time, plus in this case she... Read more

Girls in Pants (Sisterhood of Traveling Pants - Book 3)
Girls in Pants (Sisterhood of Traveling Pants - Book 3)

Review:The Third Summer of the Sisterhood is a fantastic third installment in Ann Brashares series of four girlfriends growing up together and spending their summers apart. This is the last summer before the four girls head off to college and begin to journey on.

After reading the first two books in the series I was eager to start reading the third to find out what would happen. I enjoy how the author created such realistic characters, with real problems. It seems so real that sometimes thro... Read more

The Fourth Summer of the Sisterhood (The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants)

Review:I was quite surprised to find that the confidence fought for and won by the girls was eroded in this final installment. The author took them back to square one with their new challenge of college. I was expecting the girls to face challenges, but take their hard won confidence and wear it as a shield.

I also felt the resolution of the pants was weak. I was expecting the girls not to need them, once again, that confidence gene.

I gave it 3 stars for the first 50 pages or so, wher... Read more
