That Summer
That Summer

Review:Have you ever had that feeling after reading a book where you can not stop thinking about it? Well I just finsihed this book a few minuted ago and the many well thought out themes that Sarah Dessen inserts in this book are still running through my mind. That Summer is my current favorite book, and I have read a lot of books!
What is it about? A fifteen year old girl, unique, as all people are, but I still found myself relating to her completely. She is tall and skinny, feeling as if she is a ... Read more

Rebel Spring: A Falling Kingdoms Novel
Rebel Spring: A Falling Kingdoms Novel

Review:Let me start off by saying Rebel Spring was definitely better than Falling Kingdoms but there were still things that annoyed and irritated me about this book.
Plot wise this book was solid for the most part. I love the world in this series, I love the magic, the elementia, and the battle between the lands. I even like that unlike al lot of books like it in this one it's not about stopping a king from invading, that already happened in the first book in less than 100 pages, but now it's about ... Outrage (The Singular Menace, 2)
Outrage (The Singular Menace, 2)

Review:A fun follow-up to Uncaged though you definitely need to read it first - I know it is a young adult novel but I'll read anything John Sanford writes and I look forward to the follow-up.

Sanford hasn't sold his credibility for the sake of writing volumes with alternative author - he commonness my respect and loyalty.

Can't wait to read and can't wait for Saturn Run - though I also look forward to another f##king Flowers. Read more

Uncaged (Singular Menace)
Uncaged (Singular Menace)

Review:Quite good. Unusual story for John Sandford. I am used to the detective thrillers, but very good, nonetheless. Only disappointment was realizing that it was only part one of a continuing story. Oh well, something to look forward to. Read more

Rampage (The Singular Menace, 3)
Rampage (The Singular Menace, 3)

Review:After reading the complete "Prey" and "Virgil Flowers"? series', I was at loose ends and desperate for more of his books. After reading the first page of "Uncaged" (book 1 of this trilogy), I was completely hooked! Any fans of John Sandford will Love this trilogy written with Michelle Cook. All 3 books are fast-paced and true page-turners, and if you are like me, you will find yourself awake at all hours not wanting to put it down. Since I reached the end of "Rampage", all I can hope for now... Read more

Rumble Fish
Rumble Fish

Review:Rumble Fish was a vey exciting book. This book my be written for young people, but the older people can really read it and put the words in your head and really think about what they mean. The book is written so that young minds can enjoy the book, but also written for older teenagers to put them to use. In Rumble Fish, Rusty, the main character, tries to be just like his older brother. Rudty's brother name is "Motorcycle Boy." He is known to be the toughest boy in the town. Rusty-Jame... Read more

The Gender Game 4: The Gender War
The Gender Game 4: The Gender War

Review:This series is waaaay too long. Too many characters, too many similar names and the story gets drawn out much longer than necessary. It read like a poor (very poor) relative of The Hunger Games. I gave it two stars because of the author's efforts to write something. Read more

The Child Thief
The Child Thief

Review:The writing draws you in chapter after chapter. There's a way about the characters that puts that emotional connection between you and the book. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Can't wait to read the second book. Read more

Ice Like Fire (Snow Like Ashes)
Ice Like Fire (Snow Like Ashes)

Review:Ice Like Fire (Snow Like Ashes #2)

Overall, I really enjoyed how this novel turned out, and it was definitely a very good second installment. The character struggles were evident, and the increasing conflict showed with renewed vigor. However, there were definitely some moments that I believe dragged or could have moved along a little faster.

“I’m not just me anymore. I’m a whole kingdom, and I can’t make mistakes.”

One of my favorite parts of the previous book was Meira, ... Read more

Long Way Down
Long Way Down

Review:In fifteen-year-old Will’s neighbourhood, there are certain rules that must be followed when a family member is murdered: no crying, no snitching, and get revenge. These rules were taught to him by his brother, Shawn, who was taught by his uncle, who was taught by his brother, Will's father and so on back to long before Will was born. And they have all obeyed the rules. Now, Shawn has been murdered and it is Will’s turn. He finds his brother’s gun and, with it tucked into his waistband, he head... Read more
