Operator Down: A Pike Logan Thriller
Operator Down: A Pike Logan Thriller

Review:Again another terrific novel. Well written with plenty of action. It is fun to go to different parts of the world all in one book. The blending of so many different people and personalities is really good. Brad Taylor is definitely my favorite author Read more

Chasm City (Revelation Space Book 2)
Chasm City (Revelation Space Book 2)

Review:Chasm City is the main city of the planet Yellowstone, which orbits Epsilon Eridani. Some 7 years prior to the action of the book, Yellowstone and its orbital habitats were devastated by the Melding Plague, which destroyed the nanomachines upon which much of the high-tech infrastructure depended, and which effected horrible alterations in anything (and anyone) dependent on that sort of technology.
The central thread of the this novel is brutally simple: Tanner Mirabel comes to Yellowstone fro... Read more

Bunker (A Post-Apocalyptic Techno Thriller Book 1)
Bunker (A Post-Apocalyptic Techno Thriller Book 1)

Review:Good - but not a complete book. So I was surprised when the story stopped and had to be continued "buy" getting the next part of the story " book". Or maybe I'm old and unfamiliar with the ways of the digital world. Those ole-timey books when you got to the end the story was over. Read more

Genome (The Extinction Files Book 2)
Genome (The Extinction Files Book 2)

Review:This was terrible. I was looking forward to a good read since the first novel was pretty good. I was so lost while reading this I checked twice to see if I had downloaded the wrong book. Glad he wrapped up this series in 2 books and not 3 because I wouldn’t have been reading a third. Read more

Books 1-5 - The Phantom of the Earth - An Epic Sci-Fi Saga
Books 1-5 - The Phantom of the Earth - An Epic Sci-Fi Saga

Review:The Phantom of the Earth Omnibus Edition includes 5 books which are The Song of the Jubilee, The Gambit with Perfection, The Synthesis and the Animus, The Descent into the Maelstrom, and The Restoration of Flaws. I must say that this series is a longer read, but it is definitely worth it in the end.

The two main stories follow Johann and Broden. Broken is desperately trying to find a cure to the virus that has overtaken Earth, therefore leaving the land uninhabitable forcing all humans to... Read more

The Shock (AFTER post-apocalyptic series, Book 1)
The Shock (AFTER post-apocalyptic series, Book 1)

Review:The first chapter seemed to appeal to me, it looked like it was going to go somewhere with a little dark humor thrown in. As I continued to read I found myself caring less and less about the characters. Darwinism is not alive and well in this story, some of the characters are too stupid to live. The story is predictable with nothing that surprised me at all. Finished the book only because I don't like to review a book without completing it first. Can't see myself reading the next installment. Read more

Tokyo Black (Thomas Caine Thrillers Book 1)
Tokyo Black (Thomas Caine Thrillers Book 1)

Review:A thoroughly enjoyable read. The characters get developed enough that it really keeps you interest, and there is enough action to keep it exciting, while remaining believable. Good choice. I'm already reading the second one. Read more

Munich
Munich

Review:Although fictional characters are used in this account of the negotiations between Hitler and Chamberlain, this novel has an authentic and sinister feel . Harris’s wonderful prose, his attention to detail and believable descriptions make the reader feel they are witnessing a moment in history. Not his best, but up there. Read more
