Review:What I love about this simple, yet powerful book is that it shows the reader that WE have the power to stop bullying. We don't have to be victims. I also love that the bully is eventually accepted and learns to "count" too. What a wonderfully told story that all ages can relate to. Highly recommended. Read more

My First ABC (My First Books)
My First ABC (My First Books)

Review:This has been an excellent introduction to the ABCs for my 23 month old. We often sing the ABC song before reading the book, and now he recognizes the first 3 letters of the alphabet. I don't expect him to associate the pictures with the letters just yet, but his vocabulary has expanded with the photos on each page.

I only wish that the book was in a larger format since there are sometimes so many pictures per page, though I don't think this distracts him. The size seems to be appropri... Read more

Blue Hat, Green Hat (Boynton on Board)
Blue Hat, Green Hat (Boynton on Board)

Review:My three year old with autism adores this book. He can read it himself. This book is a life saver for me as a parent. He can be in full blown meltdown and all I have to do is pull out this book or say blue hat green hat and he can't help but smile. Read more

Paw Patrol Phonics Box Set (PAW Patrol) (Step into Reading)
Paw Patrol Phonics Box Set (PAW Patrol) (Step into Reading)

Review:My beginning PAW Patrol reader loves these. My beginning reader knows each dog's name, so he can start connecting the letters of the names and the sounds they make by seeing who is on the page. The writing is simple, too, and the books are divided up into 'lessons' for them. Read more

I Spy Letters
I Spy Letters

Review:The cover is misleading. This book is appropriate for toddlers and preschoolers, but the pictures are not nearly as complicated inside the book as what is on the cover. It is a tool for teaching letters, but not a real "I Spy" in my opinion. Read more

Wipe Clean Workbook Lowercase Alphabet (Wipe Clean Learning Books)
Wipe Clean Workbook Lowercase Alphabet (Wipe Clean Learning Books)

Review:The minute she opened her gift - she immediately had us get the pen out and she started to write in the book. She is in the learning stages but she loved it!!!

The ink wipes off with a paper towel and leaves no marked on the book.

Wonderful gift for anyone young that likes to draw and loves to learn. Read more

Wipe Clean: Letters (Wipe Clean Learning Books)
Wipe Clean: Letters (Wipe Clean Learning Books)

Review:This has been a great distraction and practice tool for my 3 year old who has been fascinated by trying to write his name ever since he learned how to spell it. Pages clean up well (no marker residue) and the marker is a good thickness for him to hold onto. I only wish the marker was a little shorter to make it even easier for him, but this is still a great product. Read more

Daddy Hugs (Classic Board Books)
Daddy Hugs (Classic Board Books)

Review:My daughter got this book "for Daddy" on Father's Day. She loves the pictures and, I believe, the constant mention of "daddy." At 18 months old, she is starting to pay attention to the numbers as well as the pictures and story. Read more

The Tiny Seed (The World of Eric Carle)
The Tiny Seed (The World of Eric Carle)

Review:Buyers, beware of the dimensions. This book is tiny. It is hardcover, but at a TINY 5"x4" you cannot read this book to a whole classroom. Very disappointed when I received it to find out it was not full size. I love the story, though. Read more

A Is for Apple (Trace-and-Flip Fun!) (Smart Kids Trace-And-Flip)
A Is for Apple (Trace-and-Flip Fun!) (Smart Kids Trace-And-Flip)

Review:Kicking myself for not looking at the photos, since I'm normally pretty thorough with reviews. This unfortunately lives up to the saying, "You can't judge a book by its cover." The quality of the book is great, love the large letters, and that it's great for kinesthetic learning. However, I bought this thinking you could trace both the upper and lower case letters as the cover leads you to believe. Only the upper are traceable. Read more
