Review:Richard Dawkins is one of my personal heros. His understanding of science is outstanding, his ability to explain it is remarkable, and his ability, to make sense of complex and subtle topics puts him at the top of the list of science writers. He also can tell a good story in a down to earth way. It was fascinating to hear how he came to this point in "An Appetite for Wonder". Read more

Review:It was very interesting, especially the 5 purposes of the church and how there needs to be balance of all five for a church to thrive. Being a military spouse and attending churches all over the world, it was illuminating to think back to each church and see which ones were attentive to all the purposes and which were not. You will really see a correlation between meeting the purposes and a thriving growing church. Read more
Review:Kindle users will love Grudem's ST. It has excellent readability (including most diagrams) and navigation is a cinch. I see only two shortcomings. First, like all Kindle books, you cannot limit highlight or bookmark searches to individual chapters. In other words you have to scroll from the beginning through an entire book to find what you've highlighted/bookmarked. For a book as large as this, finding your highlights and bookmarks is time consuming. This is an amazing oversight by kindle devel... Read more

Review:In a round about way Hawkins implies that if God (Truth) were to speak, this is what it would have to say about all the things he has calibrated. Hummmmm...I say Hawkins calibrations are measurements from his own life filter, from his own perspective and are a reflection of his own self-expression and the life he has lived.
Let's say you use the muscle testing technique to test the level of truth of the furniture in your house. Your sofa calibrates at 220 and your dining room chair at 300... Read more
Review:"The International College of Applied Kinesiology and its current and past two presidents, John Diamond and applied kinesiologists in general, as well as scientists and scientific skeptics, do not accept as workable Hawkins applied kinesiology." -Arjuna Aletheia, Secrets of David R. Review:Danielle MacKinnon has done it again! I opened this book not knowing exactly what to expect but with an open mind because I have long loved Ms. MacKinnon's work, especially in regards to animals. As I started to work through the pages, I had quite a few "a-ha" moments. I chose to work with my current fur-baby, Shiloh. As it became clear exactly what his role in my life is, everything seemed to make so much sense. I am slowly working through all the other critters that have come into my life over... Read more
Review:Geraldine Brooks should be applauded for writing such an easy-to-read guide to the Koran ~ I loved how each chapter was dedicated to an aspect of Islamic culture which opened my eyes to understand the plight of Islamic women. Read more
