Review:I don't like this book's binding. It's difficult to view the portions of the map closest to the center crease of the book without damaging the book, because the paperback version isn't very durable. I prefer Britannica's Student Atlas. Read more
Review:Eric was prompt to replace the copy that was sent in error. It came in great shape and better than expected. Thank you for making my son's purchase a good one. We will continue to look here for more books of interest. Read more
Review:Good book for under 4 dollars. My son at 6 months thought it was great and wanted to read it a second time. He liked the large high contrast letters, flaps, and mommy saying noises. Mommy did not let him touch the flaps though because they could cause paper cuts esp with his current dexterity.
At 8 months old, my son still loves this book. Its in his top 5! Read more
Review:The words of these jump-rope rhymes may be traditional and authentic, but I believe some of them are no longer appropriate for children.
Examples: "Standing by a bar, Smoking a cigar, ..." and "There's a big fat policeman at the door ... makes me pay a dollar, ..." and "Here comes teacher with a great big stick, ..." Many rhymes are cute and the same as when I recited them in the 1960s. I plan to cover the objectionable ones with stickers before I give the book to my granddaughter. Read more
Review:Love this book! My 3-year-old granddaughter listened and watched as I read it to her. She then said, "My turn," and read it to me. She made up words and sounds while running her finger under the words, the same way I did it. She copied my gestures and my tone, even showing excitement on certain pages. She gave her stuffed Mickey Mouse a turn to read it, then returned to me and listened to the whole story again. Days later, she read it to her daddy.
I plan to buy Snowmen at Christmas... Read more
Review:What a great idea for a book! Amy and Dan are brother and sister and they have to make a big choice. They can either collect 1 Million Dollars each, or so on an adventure. They decide to go on the adventure, and they had no idea what they're in for. They're involved in a world wide race. The only way they can know where to go is to solve clues that are hard and very dangerous. Many times, their lives are in danger. The people who are racing against them are member of their own family, and m... Read more

Review:This is an incredible book. It is so fun to read aloud! I read it in a monster truck rally announcer voice. My husband prefers the British nature show narrator. Either way it is fun to read and a wonderful explanation for the game rock, paper, scissors. Read more
Review:My daughter loves Pete the Cat. When she pulled this out of the Amazon envelope yesterday, I literally saw her eyes light up :)
And this is a great deal. The book comes with a poster, stickers, and cards. Read more
Review:This is probably Pete's worst book. There is one part of the book that makes no sense to me and I always turn back because I figure I must have missed a page. The playground equipment crashes to the ground and on the next page it's put back together. It's very odd because the whole point of the book is construction so up to that point they talk about how they plan and build it, then it falls down and magically reappears??? Just odd. Too bad - mostly for me. My son doesn't seem to mind but ... Read more
