Review:DBT is an amazing tool for changing your outlook on life, this therapy has made me capable of having a life worth living. I have mental freedom like I've never felt before. I hope they start teaching this stuff in schools it is essential to have if you were brought up by parents who didn't know how to regulate their own emotions therefor not being able to teach their children the importance of mindfulness, self love, calm communication during stressful times and so much more. Review:Without a doubt, this book was an amazing surprise. Deborah Blum has taken a potentially dry topic, the evolution of forensic medicine, by treating each of ten poisons as individual characters in the story of how the City of New York came to recognize the importance of medical evidence in business of criminal prosecution. Review:I heard the author interviewed on radio and thought the book sounded interesting. When I got it, I decided it was way over my head. My husband had no interest in it, so we donated it to charity. It may be a great book for someone in this field. Read more
Review:Dr. Chutkan has shared important information with us that should have been common knowledge long ago. It's not new, and others have been saying much the same, but Chutkan follows it up with a plan that might work for the people who haven't digested the importance of how digestion influences one's life but need to find a solution. Review:The NANDA is located on the inside cover and first page on the paper version. The Kindle version is missing the entire second half of NANDA!!! Cross referencing is impossible. Page numbers are "locations"; this book does NOT have 10,000+ pages. I rarely used this book in the first semester of my nursing program but it was required. Now I'm debating if I should just go ahead and spend the money on the hard version also since I will be using this for 20 page care plans with concept mapping. ... Read more
Review:Originally I read this from my local library but was so impressed that I ordered it for my permanent book collection from Amazon. Some fascinating and innovative treatments for brain injury. I am keeping this for future reference in case anyone of my family or friends (God forbid) should need a second opinion in the event of a TBI. Written in a way easy for laymen to understand, but not in any way condescending. Highly recommended. Read more
Review:I recently read 12 Stupid Things That Mess Up Recovery by Dr. Allen Berger and it is one of the best books on recovery that I have read. As I am in recovery, this has been very insightful into the complexities of the disease of addiction. I plan on using it as a one of my daily life tools and am already sharing it with other people in recovery. Thank you so much Dr. Berger, I plan on reading more of your books and look forward to helping others with the knowledge you are giving us.

Review:This copy is clearly a riff from other Little Red Books. Some of the typesetting is a little careless, the spacing and page setup could be better, but it does contain the same essays as other Little Red Books. The thing with this one is the price is right. Read more
