The NANDA is located on the inside cover and first page on the paper version. The Kindle version is missing the entire second half of NANDA!!! Cross referencing is impossible. Page numbers are "locations"; this book does NOT have 10,000+ pages. I rarely used this book in the first semester of my nursing program but it was required. Now I'm debating if I should just go ahead and spend the money on the hard version also since I will be using this for 20 page care plans with concept mapping. I obviously DO NOT recommend this Kindle version.

This book was bought used from RentU. It was usable, I suppose but the way it was, I was too grossed out to use it. I returned it the same day I received the item. I was hoping I could trust this company being that the store is fulfilling the order but I was extremely disappointed.

A lot of imperative information to know when applying a nursing diagnosis for a patient. I am glad I purchased. Quick shipment ordered Jan 6th got the book Jan 10th 2016. Perfect for me, I needed the book before 2nd semester starts.

Go online and get the same information for free. I thought there would be some perks to owning a book like this but apparently in this technological age there is not. Two stars for being organized well and a reference if you need it I suppose. No other perks about it.

The kindle version of this book is borderline unusable. The formatting is terrible and there is so little on a page there it's hard to get a sense of what you're reading. I love ebooks but I would get this as a hard copy.

I absolutely love this book. Several of my friends have ordered it since I did. Very helpful and since being a nurse includes lots of paperwork, this book allows me to concentrate more on my patients.

Nursing Diagnosis Handbook is a must for all nursing students. It is a guide that will help you make the correct nursing diagnosis of your patient when completing your paperwork at the end of your clinical shift before turning it in to your instructor. This book comes with an index to help guide you in the right direction and also gives you the "related to" and "as evidence by" information that you will need to gather the necessary documentation.

Obviously this book was in used condition and not that new but I have used this for tons of care plans so far. It's way better than the care plan book I bought from my schools bookstore. The layout of the book is so easy to use. All my nursing instructors recommended this book in any edition.

As KPWM mentioned on the Kindle version of this book you can't find anything. I am able to search, but searching brings up so many items to weed through. Get the hard copy version of this book instead.

I ended up returning it via the "Manage Your Kindle" button. It says it will take 3-5 days for a refund. So if you want to try it to see if they fixed it, you can. Just return it if it's not fixed. When I get my refund I think I will buy the hard copy version. However, I hate lugging books around.

NOTE: This review is for the Kindle version of the book not the hard copy version. The reviews don't seem to distinguish between versions.

BTW the online "Care Plan Constructor" for this book seems to be available now. When I looked there are 100 care plans available.

This book is utterly useless. I get the whole concept of nursing diagnoses. I really do. In my career, I have not worked in areas where you actually write out a formal nursing diagnosis with outcomes, interventions, and evaluations. In today's nursing, all this is done on computer and in our heads. This books makes the nursing process and the process of nursing diagnoses overcomplicated. It gives you a lot of nursing diagnoses, but they are very difficult to look up and more difficult to actually read and understand. On the floor, I would never have the time to use a book like this and would throw it in the trash.
