Self-Help
Review:I have read almost every book Dr. Weiss has written and I am more at peace with who I am and my purpose in this world. I have seen him in person since then numerous times. If you are afraid or questioning the after life - read his books. Always start with Many Lives, Many Masters and go from there. Read more

This book was a good read. I enjoyed Kaitlins attitude& philosophies, as well as her account of what happened at Sandy Hook school (well obviously I didn't "enjoy" that but the first hand account was more informative than removed news commentators) . The only downer was how it affected her later on, I did not see that coming nor the attitud... Read more
Review:Teal Swan is author that has become very important in my process of transformation. I highly recommend her work, in written or oral form on YouTube, to anyone suffering from any kind of emotional trauma. I am profoundly grateful for her amazingly helpful insights. Read more
Review:This book is beautifully written, so inspiring and uplifting. It was published over 20 years ago yet it is so current. These teachings will never age.
I have read Living with Joy a few times and every single one I get something different from it.
In this book you will learn a myriad of things (such as how to gain self respect and self esteem, or learn how to listen to your intuition). There are useful exercises at the end of each chapter. I love opening a random page and seeing what is... Read more
Review:This book is quite offensive on several accounts:
1. It asserts the fact that men act only in certain ways (ex: they are not truly shy, they just don't like you, men don't get shy)
2. It claims that women must be feminine to get a man who will ultimately marry her
3. It completely rids the woman of taking ANY charge in her dating life. You must not approach a man, text/call a man, ask a man to dance. Sure, these things will deter a potential date if they are performed too desperatel... Read more
Review:How do people endure a sudden tragedy like the one the Hance family suffered? This book gives a very personal account of the aftermath this had on the individuals and on their marriage. You feel so many emotions reading this book. I also learned a little about how one can be of support just by being there. Friends, neighbors, and family rallied around and kept them going when they felt completely hopeless. It took courage to write the book and reveal so many emotions. It is also impressive that... Review:For anyone who has realized that their life has been affected by someone with narcissistic personality disorder, and especially if one has felt as though there is no way to change the situation, this book will give you a new sense of empowerment and hope. While we might not be able to change a narcissistic person, we can change our broken self-concept and we can affect how the narcissist behaves in front of us. Read more
Review:Anne Lamott has a quirky writing voice, engaging and down to earth. But one should not mistake this quirkiness for lack of depth. Ms. Lamott takes on life, with all its myriad challenges, and emerges faithful. I love her for that. Read more
Review:This book is excellent. I've been Christian all my life, Christianity teaches me to love my neighbors but this book gave me a deeper understanding of what love really means. I always fight with my thoughts but now I understand that I have options for them. I would recommend this book to everyone I know. I just recommended this book to two of my friends. Love it. Gina Lake God bless you. Read more
Review:Anne's words take this huge often (always?) mess of a world and brings it down to the elements that matter. It's not answers, it's directions. I don't know how she has managed this, my brain swirls with trying to understand it and she is one of the few that makes it make sense for me. It's calming. This book is like a crack that lets the light in - or makes you realize there is light everywhere in disguise, or that we have the ability to be light, no matter our circumstances. Read more
