Review:This book arrived in emaculate condition and timely. It is a timeless treasure for helping children understand the life cycle and the dying process in a manner that is non frightening. It is a good way to stimulate a conversation with children that are needing to cope with someone or something close to them dying. Read more

Review:How do people endure a sudden tragedy like the one the Hance family suffered? This book gives a very personal account of the aftermath this had on the individuals and on their marriage. You feel so many emotions reading this book. I also learned a little about how one can be of support just by being there. Review:Left me longing for more. Great starter to the concept of perestroika, Yeltsin's fade and the surreal rise of the oligarchs. A taste of Mother Russia and a glimpse of Putin's ruthless twist on omertà turn this tale into an indelible snapshot plotted at Polaroid® pace. Read more
Review:I love the prayers where the ordinary is connect to the extraordinary and O'Dononhue expresses this wonderfully. I work as a hospice chaplain and this book has inspired my extemporaneous prayers with patients and families. Read more
Review:This is a great read. Very well written and helpful in dealing with loss. If you or someone you know is going through any type of loss you will be encouraged by this book. It is written very sensitively, and with great understanding by the author who went through a tragic loss. I will continue to share this with people I come across who are experiencing a loss. Review:I really liked the simplicity of this book. It was a quick easy read with no religion in it at all. It was very matter of fact and detailed how different living things have different life spans. I bought this for my almost 5 year old daughter who had started asking about death. There is a section that talks about accidents and illness as a cause of death with a picture of a butterfly wing all broken in pieces. It kind of freaked her out. Also, the book was written in the 1980's so it says people... Read more
Review:Neale continues to amaze me. It is no secret that we do not get along personally. But that aside he knows how to "channel" God or at least listen and write what God is saying to him. There have been messengers throughout history which brought Gods message to this planet. Jesus, Mohamed, Buddha, Krishna, Mershid, and many others. Now, like it or not, we must put Neale's books among them for understandable content. Read more
Review:A very intimate and honest portrait of her life. Jane is quite candid about her bulimia, her relationship issues, and her insecurity. She is also a very articulate and accomplished writer. I had the opportunity to meet her briefly in the 70's when she was an activist and she was as friendly and down to earth and accessible then as she appears in her memoir. This is woman who deeply cares about the human condition, the environment, and God. Truly an inspiration to me. Read more
