Review:A very informative book. The real life instances mentioned in the book compares well with what my Dad is suffering. The book gives great insights about the disease, the sufferings of the patients, how to cope with the disease and continue on..... Read more
Review:This book is very informative about the back pain industry and alternative ways of helping your back. However, the people involved in the alternative ways differ greatly in philosophy and approach. It is quite confusing out there if you're trying to diminish or heal your back pain. The author was much more critical and analytical about the back pain industry regarding medicine (doctors, medications, surgeries) but not critical or analytical about alternative methods discussed in her book such as... Review:Our pediatrician has recommended that my kids be on an anti-inflammatory diet as much as possible, but I have struggled to find recipes that are simple enough for a busy working mom to make, and tasty enough for them to eat. Madeline Given has provided recipes that do both: Not too many ingredients, and many of them look kid-friendly. I'm very thankful for this new cookbook that will hopefully help me to keep on track with serving my kids the kinds of food that their bodies need. Read more
Review:Very informative! Kudos to Dr. Bredesen for his countless hours and years of research in uncovering possible answers to someday eliminate Alzheimer's. I believe his protocol could work --even though I don't have Alzheimer's, I do have the APOE gene. I want to do all I can to make sure I can prevent this happening to me. His book convinced me to follow his protocol. Read more

Review:This book changed my life, especially the chapters on nutrition. I am trying to follow its recommendation and for the first time in my life, I am not suffering from gas and constripation. I believe that limiting carbs and sugar are the key. Also the section on meditation is very helpful. This is a great book and I highly recommend it. Read more
Review:Margaret has a gift with words, that paints pictures much like Max Lucado. She can express more feeling and passion in one sentence than some authors do in several paragraphs. I highly recommend the book. This one book made me want to read her other books. Read more
Review:Another winner from Dave Asprey. While the book definitely gets into the weeds on mitochondria, it is fascinating to learn how important they are to almost every function of the body. I read the Bulletproof Diet a couple of years ago and while there are many similarities it is great to get the latest information and continue to work on a healthier life! Read more

Review:A serious and in-depth review, from a primary contributor, about the difficult quest searching for cancer cures while the mighty federal government hinders almost everything science comes up with. Spreading the word about this book may cause the bureaucrats to loosen up a little. When, as is often the case, death is looking somebody in the face in the short future it makes little sense to prohibit well-founded experimentation, freely chosen, as an alternative to just marking off days on a calenda...
