Review:I really enjoyed this series. The price convinced me to buy it, the characters made it hard for me to put down. I felt so bad for the character at the first of the first of the series, and so sad that the ravages of

Review:Julia Garrison' determination and strength are remarkable and inspiring. This story was one I couldn't put down, and one that changed my perspective on dealing with trauma and rehabilitation. Julia's own character and the love of her family and friends changed her long term outcome and her quality of life following her "incident". I admire all of them and salute them! Read more
Review:i was not expecting a college book reference along with such small print. it does not even look like the author wrote the book for the target market that would actually use the book or should i say a novel. it would have been nice to not have added to the already situation of having the disease, and if the author gave any thought to the user of his verbal diarrhea book he would have known how to lessen the burden of us, but instead he wanted to let us know just how educated he was. i was more in... Even before attempting any of the lessons in the book, a shift in how I held my pelvis brought a lot of relief. More recently, I've been dealing with pain higher up than the original problem. This book helped me to understand what has ... Read more
Review:Twice in my life I have experienced debilitating back pain: twenty years ago, which resulted in a successful spinal fusion, and eight weeks ago--a bolt of electricity shot through my lower back, not once but twice. Ouch! Not wanting to relive my earlier experience, I read Healing Back Pain Naturally from cover to cover and applied the principles as I read.
Art Brownstein addresses all aspects of back pain from the various causes of the pain to principles of self healing. There are excell... Read more
Review:I purchased this book because my feet hurt. Duh. I never wear high heels, I go barefoot as much as possible, and I don't wear flip-flops. This book was somewhat interesting in its explanation of anatomy, but the text was largely aimed at convincing women to stop wearing heels. I'm sure many women need to be told this, but any woman who continues to wear high heels even though her feet hurt is an idiot. This book is not very useful for women like me who wear sensible shoes, or no shoes, and whose... Read more
