Review:being a grandmother myself, I found this book right on point and wish I had written it. It is warm and loving and so true for most grandparents although not all as Lesley Stahl pointed out. For those who have not experienced the things we have, they are at a mightly deep loss as there is NOTHING like the love of a grandchild and a grandparent----NOTHING. Read more
Review:I would highly recommend this book. I finished it in one sitting. Barbara Corcoran created an empire in real estate, became a business investor on the popular show "shark tank" and writes a very motivating story about her life. In this book she gives excellent advice and relates lessons she learned growing up that attributed to her success and decisions in business. And it is entertaining as an autobiography as well. Review:I definitely recommend this book to all women! I have difficulty reading instructions on how to anything but read through this book in one day! I became an admirer of Kelly through seeing her on the Hills and The City. I knew she was the type of person I would be drawn to and can learn from.
What I read made me even more fond of her. It is always refreshing and beautiful when people are genuine honest and have good intentions, and when they follow through they touch lives and make a d... Read more
Review:I loved this book very much! Sometimes there were a couple of repetitions however it was usually something said twice in different manners. I enjoyed the book and I love the television show. Give this book a read! Read more
Review:Outstanding background and history of a true music legend. Being a fan, I thought I know everything about Charlie Daniels. As the book proved, I was wrong. Charlie provides insight on his early days of music in the 50's and 60's. It is hard to believe a musician that cannot read tables or music sheets can be a sought after session musician. Charlie plays from the heart with a vast knowledge of his instruments and whole lot of soul. Charlie is a family man that treats all of his long time employe... Read more
Review:This autobiography got long and boring. I did not appreciate the language.
I've been in an ER a number of times in the past year. I appreciate the good
care received in one hospital, not so good in the other. I'r sure Dr. Goldman
does a fine job and is a caring individual. Read more
Review:Lertzman and Birnes have given us a readable romp through the lives of the rich and famous who Dr. Jacobson, aka Dr. Feelgood, may have treated for his own gratification and to their detriment. Essentially we have a long People magazine article on the dangers of drugs use through the repeated use of celebrities as examples of the problems allegedly caused by drugs.
It boggles the mind that Jacobson was really there with all the famous people he claimed to have been influenced by and trea... Read more
Review:Elizabeth Vargas honestly and openly tells her story of anxiety and alcoholism . Not easily overcoming her addiction, she is in and out of rehab several times, finally beating her addiction. She gives inside information of her struggles and victories in the news business as well. A great read! Read more
Review:OK, maybe not, but his lookalike John Stossel is definitely keeping self-important bureaucrats and fat cats "under pressure."
Stossel cuts through the groupthink and lack of perspective that pervade the "reporting" we're subjected to from dim bulbs like Matt, Katie and Paula. His arguments for a freer society - one where risk-taking behavior is encouraged, not feared, point the way to a U.S. that stops chasing dimes with dollars, a country where it's easier to start a business or invent a... Review:I unlike the other so-called "reviewers" here on Amazon that "reviewed" the book via rating it one star and going on rants about "Hate" and the LiberalBuzzwords that seem so ad-nausea and so redundant that even Fellow Liberals have to admit.I Listen to Rush, not all the time not even everyday. But I like him,I like his personality, his views and despite him SADLY not being crazy about The Crazy Right.(I am.)and his Other views regarding perhaps Marriage,I don't find him offensive.I think people rea...
