Review:So glad to finally have another Michael Bennett and family. This book was so hard to put down I literally could have read it in one day. I kept putting it away to prolong getting to the end. Cannot wait for the next one. Read more
Review:This was a pleasant surprise from Patterson since his last couple books tanked. Story gets your interest from the first chapter and with a few turns keeps it interesting. Looks forward to next book. Read more
Review:The WMC series is great. Lots of action, mystery and what a shame the network cancelled the series as my husband and I both were huge fans. Recommended reading to anyone that likes Sydney Sheldon, Nora Roberts, etc. Can't wait for the next one Read more
Review:This is a fantastic book! I already love Alex Grayson and now can't wait to read AM Wilson books as well! This is a pretty dark book. It is well written and the characters are very real. The story is so real is scary at times. This is a hear breaking, anger inducing beautiful roller coaster ride of twists, turns and emotions. This is absolutely worth a read (and a reread) It's such a fantastic book!

Review:When I finished reading Con and Charlie's story I was curious to see if Celia would give us Nate and Sabrina's story or not. I wanted it...could tell that the possibility was there for a story.
All in all, I enjoyed Nate and Sabrina, I felt like she was a bit of a walking ball of hormones and he was no better, but that's kind of what this book is about. Resisting temptation, giving in to it...realizing it's more than just scratching an itch. Finding a partner.
Great story line, won... Read more
Review:I love adventure or fantasy novels that philosophize without pomp and in ways that induce a eureka reaction, i.e. it better articulates a nebulous or nascent feeling or opinion you've had while entertaining with a fine plot. This one achieves that plus sympathetic characters, deep understanding of culture conflicts and history (another favorite book, though quite different, that fills this void is Lud In the Mist). Mr. Miller should author more-- though I doubt even he wouldn't have trouble hitt... Read more
Review:I have greatly enjoyed Carol Nelson Douglas' books about Irene Adler and Laurie King's books about Mary Russell. Annelie Wendeberg now fills in further details about the strong-minded women who loved and challenged Sherlock Holmes. These are all stories that Dr. Watson unaccountably omitted from his memoirs. Perhaps he was too much of a gentleman to tell a woman's tale. We can only be greatful that these women authors are not such gentlemen.
Wendeberg's stories, and this one in particular... Read more
Review:Gone are Koontz's days of excellent writing. I guess when you get popular and your publisher demands a book every six months you just churn out whatever you can. This book very much has the feel of a teenager writing it... no sense of suspense or mystery or even excitement. Not his worst, by far, but nowhere near the realm of Watchers or Lightning. Read more
Review:I liked the ability to skirt right up against current affairs but maintain fiction. The political dialogue made it seem so much more real, for me. I had trouble in the beginning, keeping all the names and functions of the characters straight. Read more
