Review:Extremely well written, fast paced, with some great characters, particularly the feisty, head-strong Poppy. Even if she did go a little troppo in the idyllic isle of Costa Rica.

A thoroughly compelling story, both the plot itself and the way it discusses the alarming trafficking of endangered species. Loved the totally unexpected ending.

Review:Excellent series. Although it doesn’t compare to the first book, it’s a close second (the second book in the series was just meh to me).

My only complaint was that the author chose to throw in the use of Spanish phrases periodically. She hadn’t done this in past books. That’s all good if you’re bilingual, but kinda annoying if you can’t speak Spanish. Read more
