Review:When I began to read Presence I found myself suspecting that I was going to end up hating it. It felt like one of those self-help books stuffed with testimonials to make up for the lack of content. But I'm glad I persisted, because this is a book that grows in authority as it goes on. In the end, the testimonials come to feel like foundations to prepare the reader for their encounter with the deceptively simple insights, including those on the conscious use of posture, that Amy Cuddy's research ... Review:There are a million tricks out there on the Internet. If you took a look at the number of authors and motivational speakers, and what their message was, you'd find that most of them are based more on their style of dogmatism. In this book, Mel didn't just come up with this rule out of the blue: she did research with different facilities to find out how it works. In this book, she does start with the easy basics of the 5-second rule, which is before major decisions, take a breath and count dow... Read more

Review:So much clarity with different aspects of my life after reading this book. If you are stuck with what is next for you and want to find clarity with your life I highly recommend this book. Loved this book so much that i even signed up for Platform University and his work has helped me. Thanks for all that you do Michael Hyatt!!!! Read more
Review:Richard packs a lot of great theory into his book but with so little examples of the theories it is hard to grasp the meaning of the them. I did learn something like the book should have 20% theory and 80% examples instead of 80% theory and 20% examples. Read more
Review:This is a great book to help organizations recruit and train ideal team players. Patrick's no nonsense approach makes it easy for anyone to grasp the concepts. His "parable" brings those concepts to life and lets the reader experience each of the team player virtues before hammering them home on the discussion/description that follows. Great book. I can't wait to start building ideal team players in my organization! Read more
Review:This is a book that delivers more than it promises. Annie Duke teaches us how to set aside many of our pre-conceived notions about positive and negative outcomes. She provides us with a framework to accept either result derived from the countless decisions we make in business and in our private everyday lives.
The titles for each chapter and subheading inspire the reader to hunker down and examine life through the prism of a poker player champion. How would each important decision be mad... Read more
