Vampire Kisses
Vampire Kisses

Review:Vampire kisses is a quick (emphasis on quick - I finished this one in like 3 hours)and very fun read. The Vampire Kisses series is most likely my personal guilty pleasure. I've never judged this series as hardly as I judge others, mainly because I don't take it as seriously, but on the last two installments I have found myself trying very hard not to roll my eyes with the recurring setting of each of the Vampire Kisses books. In every single installment, someone new arrives, it represents some k... Read more

Fate (My Blood Approves) (Volume 2)
Fate (My Blood Approves) (Volume 2)

Review:I hate to write a negative review about this book because I really love this author, but this is honestly one of the most boring books I have read in a really long time. The main character, Alice, was very one-dimensional, and came across as very whiny. I didn't like her character for the same reason I didn't like Bella in "Twilight" - too whiny and way too obsessive over her boyfriend. Just because your boyfriend doesn't see you for two days is no reason to completely lose who you are. I do not... Read more

Flutter (My Blood Approves, Book 3)
Flutter (My Blood Approves, Book 3)

Review:My main issues with this series is that nothing really happens and the main character is very selfish. I didn't find her likable at all. I also felt that the interest from Peter was so vague that it definitely didn't feel like a true love triangle. I read the first three and will not finish the series. Read more

Wake (A Watersong Novel)
Wake (A Watersong Novel)

Review:I have to say I really enjoy amanda hockings work. She knows how to grab your attention and hold on to it. Plus I love the fact that she writes about the types of supernatural species that aren't commonly written about. Read more

Wisdom (My Blood Approves Book 4)
Wisdom (My Blood Approves Book 4)

Review:I really enjoyed this series. I think this author has a great writting future ahead of her. Typos made me cringe but I'm sure that will get better as gains more success and income (to pay for better editing). The books are priced well so it wasn't a big issue for me and didn't interfere with my understanding of the story. Read more

My Blood Approves (Volume 1)
My Blood Approves (Volume 1)

Review:I read this series because the reviews kept compairing to "Twilight". I am a hard core "Twilight" fan and i really did not think this was going to be as good. I was wrong! My Blood approves is a fantastic book in its own right. I can not compair the two books other than the romance aspect of it. You can't help but fall in love with most of the characters. I know these are "teen" books and i would recomend them with a warning!!!!!!! book three is a little descriptive for young teen.

Elegy (A Watersong Novel)
Elegy (A Watersong Novel)

Review:Elegy was quite the conclusion to the Watersong series. When I look back at Wake, the story has just come so far in terms of character development and plot. What was once a very predictable story with decent characters has turned into something unexpected with characters I've come to love. Hocking continues with her unique spin on Greek mythology to create something really special in Elegy.

There is so much tension in Elegy. We have couples who don't know if they'll ever make it through ... Read more

Lullaby (Watersong, Bk 2) (A Watersong Novel)
Lullaby (Watersong, Bk 2) (A Watersong Novel)

Review:Come-on. Either finish it & write a complete book, not just a few chapters for the middle of this story to lead us on. After the first book, which I liked, and the start of this, which followed, the author cut to a short ending (to push up sales for the finale??)(or I hope the next one is the finale). When I finished, I felt like I paid my money and someone had ripped off the last half of the book (I guess to keep the sales coming). But I'm so ticked off at her now, I'm not sure I want to... Peeps
Peeps

Review:Peeps is about a vampire named Cal. Cal hunts down people with parasites called peeps. Cal is like a half vampire half human.

My favorite part of the book is when Cal is spying on Morghan. Morghan is a peep who gave Cal the parasite. Cal is spying on her and she catches him and he starts jumping from roof to roof.

This was one of my favorite vampire books. I recommend this book. If you like vampire adventure books you would love Peepes. Peeps goes into every detail when describ... Read more
