Lord of Misrule (Morganville Vampires - Book 5) - The Morganville Vampires
Lord of Misrule (Morganville Vampires - Book 5) - The Morganville Vampires

Review:REALLY enjoy this series and this book. Rachel Caine does a great job with character development throughout the books and giving the "next" installment of the story without feeling like she's repeating the theme over and over. Can't wait 'til the next one (in June!) I also really enjoy the touch of romance without it being central to the story. Read more

Bitter Blood: The Morganville Vampires
Bitter Blood: The Morganville Vampires

Review:Just Finished reading Bitter Blood. It was heart pounding and wrenching. Claire and the Glass House residents are in the thick of it again. But with more twists because Miranda is now part of the "family". I dont want to be a spoiler so I'll just say that Im interested in seeing if there is another book and where it will lead.
Bitter Blood was fantastic and just as thrilling as the previous 12 books!!! Read more

Black Dawn: The Morganville Vampires

Review:In the tradition of Morganville Books just when you think you know where this book is going you are wrong. There are twists in the last few chapters that are almost mind blowing. I loved every second of this book and it was perfect vacation reading. Read more

Unleash the Storm (Steel & Stone Book 5)

Review:So much about this amazing book. Within the first few chapters I was laughing, crying, screaming, and gnawing at my lip. I was at the edge of my seat so much, I think I fell lol. It was just perfect. I am so sad to see this series end, but I'm happy with the ending and look forward to Annette next book. Read more

Misguided Angel (Blue Bloods - Book 5) (Blue Bloods Novel)

Review:Taken from my blog [...]

SPOILER ALERT: If you haven't read the first four books in the series, stop now. Go read them. =]

Melissa de la Cruz's Blue Bloods series continues to amaze me. I was skeptical that anything could be as good as the last book but Misguided Angel held up under my scrutiny. It's torture that the next book in the series doesn't come out until October of next year.

Misguided Angel starts off a month after the ending of The Van Alen Legacy. The writi... Read more

Lost In Time (A Blue Bloods Novel)
Lost In Time (A Blue Bloods Novel)

Review:I am appalled that only one other person noted the terrible editing job performed on this novel. The capitalization errors run rampant throughout the novel. I teach high school English and see these errors from my freshman - I don't expect it when I am reading published works, especially from an adult. If students are reading errors then they start to believe that they too do not have to capitalize proper nouns and the first word in a sentence. As a teacher, trying to reinforce good writing ... Vampire Kisses 9: Immortal Hearts
Vampire Kisses 9: Immortal Hearts

Review:The final conclusion to the Vampire Kisses series. I was really sad and excited when this book came out. I loved all the books in the series and didn't want to let go of their world. But at the same time I was excited to find out if Raven was going to be a vampire or if something else will happen and she stays human. So I read the book in 5 hours non- stop and WOW. it was amazing. I was worried I wasn't going to like the ending but I think it concluded perfectly. A must read. Read more

Shadow Kiss: Vampire Academy, Book 3
Shadow Kiss: Vampire Academy, Book 3

Review:Slightly juvenile but entertaining anyways. Typical love story but I like the twist on the vampires. I enough how Meade writes and her characters are more fleshed out than the normal tween writers tend to be. I'd recommend this series and the following Bloodlines novels. I enjoyed them very much.
