Review:The stories in this book are very short and limite. “Good Night Stories of Rebel Girls” is a similar book but better. It covers girls from all over the world and different periods of time. My girls and I have fun reading it. Read more
Review:My elementary school age daughters love this book. They are able to do most of the activities with no or minimal help, except for buying a few simple supplies and ingredients, although we have most of what is needed lying around the house. The great part of this book is how independent and capable my girls are when doing the exercises, although in their zeal they can use up the last of certain products - such as my teen girls' hair conditioner (they weren't happy!), so you might want to make som... Review:Bought this book set for my 13-year old minecraft zombie, and I was highly disappointed in the reading level of the books. I had to rearrange the books the children are receiving for Christmas because these books are written very simply, and they are geared more toward a 7 or 8-year old. Read more
Review:My son likens reading to corporal punishment, so I am always on the lookout for fun books that pique his interest in reading. As a Minecraft "zombie" himself, I just knew my sweet baby boy would relate to the trials and tribulations of the titular Zombie in this series. My adorable and brilliant cuddlebug devoured all of the presently-available installments and we are both now anxiously awaiting the next. (Seriously. Can't you just churn these out in groups of four or something, Mr. Zack Zomb... Read more

Review:Got these for my Minecraft crazy son for Christmas. Since Christmas my ADHD son read all three. As far as reading level for fifth graders I don't think they're the highest, but anything that makes my son love reading gets a high grade from me. Read more
Review:Mr. Flanagan is a master of character development. You really feel like you have a personal relationship with his characters. Yet another great book from this author. I would like to see more from these "early years" of Halt. Read more
Review:I was reluctant to start this series after reading the Rangers apprentice cause I thought that nothing would come close to that, but I was gratefully surprised. These book grab you and pull you into the story in just the same way. I look forward to more! Read more
Review:This second prequel to the Ranger's Apprentice series is another Halt and Crowley adventure about their early years in the Rangers Corp. The evil Morgorath appears in this story as the Rangers strive to save the Araluens from destruction. A young but resourceful Gilan is introduced. Flanagan writes the stories about people and events that have been briefly mentioned in the RA books. Very entertaining. Can't wait for his next book! Read more
