Review:Love this book! It discusses the many ways that big brothers have MORE fun than new babies, and does so without inserting feelings about jealousy like many big sibling books do. My thought it they might not feel as jealous if we don't suggest that feeling to them! This book deals with a lot of the real life issues that first happen when the new baby comes home. Highly recommend! Read more

Review:Rumble Fish was a vey exciting book. This book my be written for young people, but the older people can really read it and put the words in your head and really think about what they mean. Review:This book was a great purchase for children age 4-12. Great pictures and really challenges the child to use their thinking skills. Very similar to the PC game of the same title..Highly recommended for any child. Read more
Review:It's a wonderful book...heartwarming and beautiful. I just did not know from the onset when I bought it that it was technically fiction. Based on a collective of true stories and interviews but fiction nonetheless. I'm not too fond of fiction books. Read more

The author first provides the child with reassuring insight as to why "worrying" sometimes becomes problematic for a person. The author then proceeds to outline a very child-friendly cognitive-behavioral plan for overcoming anxiety.
At our child and family counseling clinic, we use cognitive-behavioral therapy as one component of treatment, and we often use this book as an adjunct to therapy. For ... Read more
