Heat Wave
Heat Wave

Review:I loved the writing, the setting, and the idea behind it, but I just didn't LOVE the book. I read another review that said that they wanted to feel that Ronnie truly wasn't second fiddle to her sister and while we almost got there, I just didn't quite make it. I always had the lingering feeling as to what would have happened IF, and I think for this to have totally 100% worked for me, I should have lost that. Despite that, I still enjoyed the book overall. It was a slow burn, I think I'm jus... Read more

Racing the Sun: A Novel
Racing the Sun: A Novel

Review:I absolutely loved Racing the Sun by Karina Halle. In this story Karina takes the reader on a beautiful journey through Italy and makes you feel like you are really there experiencing the journey with the characters.

The Perfect Illusion
The Perfect Illusion

Review:I was given an advance copy of the perfect illusion I voluntarily read it. Wow this book has more twists than a pretzel, this book has all the great drama of a classic love. The anger, the passion, the secrets, the jewels wow who doesn't dream of an 8 karat diamond. The secret, the intrigue, the joys and the laughter. I am so very happy to say this book wasn't the same old run of the mill book. The heroine is confident, sexy and a bit of a risk taker. The hero hmmm is he damaged, scared or just unawa... Read more

After All: A Hate to Love Standalone Romance
After All: A Hate to Love Standalone Romance

Review:A famous hot guy and not famous "regular girl" (she is hot but doesn't think so) hookup and then an interesting opportunity presents itself. Snarky girl meets man-whore scoundrel. I do so enjoy the fiesty banter. I always enjoy this author's love stories, usually read them in one pass as was the case here. This was unputdownable. Read more

Winter's Passage (The Iron Fey): 1
Winter's Passage (The Iron Fey): 1

Review:After finishing The Iron King I was more than ready to jump into Winter's Passage - I love the idea of short novella's to help bridge the gap between books and I really enjoyed this look into the journey of Ash and Meghan as they head back to Tir na Nog, the home of the Winter Fae Queen Mab and the Unseelie Court.

That said, this was definitely a novella. It was short and sweet and dealt primarily with the budding relationship between Ash and Meghan. There was a smattering of action and ... Read more

Adultery
Adultery

Review:A quick read. It was not the juicy, cheating story that I expected. Rather, a story of a woman lost in the everyday routine, and struggling to find herself and happiness. Although odd, and too methodical at times, a good book about long term relationships and love. Read more

What You Do to Me (The Haneys Book 1)
What You Do to Me (The Haneys Book 1)

Review:Sam and Haley are the cutest characters. It will be interesting to see their new house, maybe, if the author puts it into the sequel. Barbara Longley writes a good and different story.I like the light humor she uses. Good read. Enjoy. Read more
