A Book Club Recommendation! (The Hudson Sisters Series)
A Book Club Recommendation! (The Hudson Sisters Series)

Review:When does the next book come out? I mean, I know that this first one JUST came out, but the next one will be soon, right?
I just loved this book. Three sisters, Cara, Des, and Allie didn’t grow up together. As a matter of fact, only Des and Allie did; they had no clue that Cara existed and Cara knew nothing of their existence. They got this bombshell at the reading of the will after their father’s death. He also decided that for ANY of them to receive their inheritance, they must ALL work tog... Read more

The Girl Who Chased the Moon: A Novel
The Girl Who Chased the Moon: A Novel

Review:After her mother's death, Emily Benedict moves in with her grandfather in the small town where her mother grew up. It doesn't take her long to realize the Mullaby is no ordinary town; the wallpaper in her room changes according to her mood, and strange lights can be seen in her backyard. The other inhabitants of the town are also far from ordinary. Julia bakes cakes that float sparkles and aromas through the air, and the Coffey family refuses to go out at night. The mysterious Coffeys have a ... Read more

A Book Club Recommendation! - The Sweetness of Forgetting

Review:Not at all what I expected. Very contrived and found myself skipping over huge sections just to get the end. It's actually insulting to read about the subject matter trivialized. There are so many other books to read that have substance and treat the subject with the dignity it deserves. Read more

The Flood Girls: A Book Club Recommendation!
The Flood Girls: A Book Club Recommendation!

Review:Wow I loved this so much! It really struck an emotional chord with me. These are broken and bruised characters who have lived hard, but you can't help but love. Even through all their mistakes and misgivings. It hits home because we always say that we are not our past, but the past is so hard to overcome - especially the choices made as young adults. It's why it is painful to be around old friends and family if you have a past you aren't proud of. Just being in their proximity makes you feel lik... Read more

What Was Mine: A Book Club Recommendation!
What Was Mine: A Book Club Recommendation!

Review:I think, as a parent, that all parents imagine what we would do if one of our children disappeared. Taken, lost...the nightmare and tragedy would be overwhelming.

Author Ross has written a book that roused all kinds of emotions in me. I was sick to my stomach, I cried - this story was so affecting.

The book is written in short chapters, each written from the point-of-view of different characters in the book. The action moves quickly and the emotions brought out are realistic and vo... Read more

Say No to Joe?
Say No to Joe?

Review:I've read all of Lori's books. And I would always buy them as soon as they go on sale. However, I'm getting BORED! She started writing series romances...then branched out. However, for once I would like Lori to write an original book that stands on it's own. All these books that she's putting out have characters from previous books and it's GETTING OLD!!! (HUNKY BROTHERS OR COUSINS) I cringe when reading a book that starts talking about the hero's cousin or brother...cause you then know t... Read more

Doctor-Patient Confidentiality - Volume One (Confidential #1)
Doctor-Patient Confidentiality - Volume One (Confidential #1)

Review:A story that at first was slow but got better. It was confusing because the reader has a lot of questions about the patient Ramona that are not answered.
But it is a very good read and enjoyable. The characters are well developed and the story line is well written. I hate cliffhangers but I am excited the read more about these two characters.
The story has twists and turns and lots of emotional ups and downs. It has chemistry, passion and lust.
A short quick read.

I volunteered t... Read more

Dreamweaver Trail: An Eternity Springs Novel

Review:Gabi Romano has taken to finding herself. After a traumatic event and leaving behind her career she's hell bent on finding someone that makes her feel good again. Ironically, Flynn Seagraves is on that same path. He's got a murky, and devastating path that he's running from and being high profile doesn't help matters. The hurt, and loss send these two running right into one another. However, they can only escape from reality for so long. After a blissful couple of weeks secrets are unearthed, ol... Read more

Any Dream Will Do: A Novel

Review:I enjoyed reading Any Dream Will Do. For awhile I felt sorry for Shay when her brother took advantage of her I liked the way she bounced back. Twelve Days of Christmas: A Christmas Novel
Twelve Days of Christmas: A Christmas Novel

Review:This book was a waste of time. I'm not even sure it could hold the attention of a twelve year old. I skipped parts of paragraphs just to get through it. Should have just dumped it but I always finish what I start. Big mistake this time. Read more
