Review:Try Not to Breathe, a story that slowly pulls you in. It takes you through the hum-drum life of Alex Dale and into the life of Amy Stevenson- a severely beaten young lady, who's been in a coma for fifteen years. Yes, you read that correctly, fifteen years. So what's so interesting about this girl?
That's what Alex wants to share.
The story is nicely written and not really for the faint of heart. There's some serious activity in this book (No SPOILERS because it makes the story) -... Read more
Review:This book was sad but insightful. I really enjoyed reading it and didn't want to put it down.
I would recommend it to anyone who has a life threatening disease or is interested in how a person gets on with life when they're facing death. Read more
Review:I thoroughly enjoyed this short bad boy romance with great characters and intrigue. An arranged marriag has lots of problems to overcome, but the ending was great. I plan to read more books from this author. I received an advance review copy in exchange for an honest review, and I recommend this book to lovers of this genre. Read more
Review:Loved the conclusion to this fantastic trilogy! I wish Robyn Peterman would just sit her awesome butt at a computer and keeping their stories going. Her books have the humor and heart that I crave when reading. Please keep them coming!!! Read more
Review:Lisa hooked me again. I have waited very impatiently for Hold Still to hit the shelves. I was not disappointed. Lisa hooked me in the first chapter and I could not put it down. Her style of writing is exceptional and keeps you riveted to the pages. Every time I think I have it figured out, she throws me in a different direction and not until the last chapter do I finally get my answer. Her descriptions of places and events keeps my mind picturing what may be coming up next. It is like I am there... Read more
Review:"Very Bad Things" is going on my favorites list. WOW, so unexpected and brilliant. The writing was beautiful, love Ilsa's style, she is able to paint the perfect picture with words and it felt like i was watching a movie instead of reading a book. Speaking of which, this would be an amazing movie, let's get on that!!
Nora and Leo awwww, I fell in love with both of them instantly as well as Leo's brother Sebastian. It's not often I find a female heroine that I adore, but Nora...I adore her. Sh... Read more
Review:Wow. I have never heard of this author before. What a fast-paced read. Her turn of phrase is quite distinctive. I thoroughly enjoyed. An epilogue in about five years would have been the cherry on top!!! Read more
Review:I was immediately drawn into this story by the characters. Larger than life and absolutely recognisable, it was impossible not to be captivated by them. Once the mystery of the Jorgensen family was unveiled, it was near impossible to put down.
Jenna, in such pain from the loss of her family that she couldn't see a way out of the darkness; Lars, nursing a broken heart in more ways than one; Owen, doing his best despite the secrets he kept; Audrey, lost inside her own mind, holding the key ... Read more
Review:This was my second time reading through the series and it hasn't disappointed. Admittedly the main character is still securely lodged between her two romantic interests and making little progress in that respect but I've come to appreciate the more substantial plot lines that seem to be a rare creature in the paranormal romance fantasy genre. It is going to be very interesting to see how the author handles the twist at the end of this book in the next volume. Read more
Review:Strange and damaged characters that continued to surprise me until the final page. Smart description and good character development from the first page that fed the story till the end. I'm sure you will enjoy! Read more
