Women's Fiction
Review:This is a very thought provoking story on many levels. The characters were interesting. I loved Maggie; Michael was complex as was June; Shay an enigma -- I just couldn't figure out who or what he really was even to the very end. Perhaps the author wanted to leave the reader guessing. I also found myself asking what I would have done were I in June's situation. I think in the end she made the right choice. All in all it was a good read. Read more
Review:I have not read all the prior books. Most people who gave this a low rating, mentioned too much back story. Actually, while the backstory is continually hinted at, it is NOT explained enough to understand. I have zero idea of who all these people are, what they are doing or how they got into any of the situations they are in.
None of the characters is the least bit more than a name Since we are not told how the current situation has evolved, it is mighty hard to imagine SO many people ... Read more
Review:The story is dated, even for 1994. The characters are stereotypes; the cold English professor, self-centered daughter, egotistical law student boyfriend. Cancer treatment had progressed beyond the author's knowledge, particularly pain management . (I have personal experience.) Suicide is one of the first things considered. The author missed the opportunity to develop the mother's dilemma-helping your family who she protected for so many years through her death. In an interview the author admitte... Read more
Review:I really enjoyed reading this book. It was very different from the typical romance novel. I enjoyed switching from the present time to the past and back to the present again. This was true of both main characters and it made for a very interesting read. Read more
Review:I think I bought this book rather inexpensively from Book Bub and was happy with it. It was a easy read and one that kept my interest throughout. I would say a somewhat predictable ending but that's OK there were a couple surprises throughout to make up for it. A good summer beach read. Read more
Review:Sadie and Ashton were so hot together! When he agreed to experiment with her and help her explore her sexual nature, Ashton couldn't be more ready to lend a hand. I loved how careful he was with her, yet he wasn't afraid to help Sadie push past her boundaries. Awesome fun read, with some good twists to keep everything off-kilter. Read more
Review:Happy belated Pub Day to The Beekeeper’s Promise ?, which came out yesterday! ? I was fortunate enough to be able to read this book through NetGalley so thank you to both them & Amazon Publishing for making that happen in exchange for an honest review. ?

Review:Well HELLO Britney King! You killed it with this book! You related everyday common problems to the obsessed person. I loved it! King… you are good at these thriller, suspense, psychological mind-flips! I might need you to start writing a tad-bit quicker. I felt my own slight obsession while reading The Social Affair! I developed a compulsion… with this book! I couldn’t stop reading until it was over. I read this entire book in less than 24 hours!
So we have Izzy, Izzy is obsessed with soc... Read more
Review:The Favorite Sister by Jessica Knoll is a thriller that is set in what’s become the new normal in America in the reality television circuit. The ladies in the story are cast mates in the show Goal Diggers. A bit of a take on a housewife drama type of show but opposite in the fact these women are young professionals.
The story begins by giving the reader a glimpse at present time in which it becomes apparent that Brett who had been the star of the show is dead and the question becomes what... Read more
