Review:Very good read. Could not put this book down. Skimmed over some of the romantic interlude parts and usually would deduct a star for explicit “love scenes”, however the overall story was good enough I felt it deserved a 5 star rating. Plot twists that you won’t see coming . Masterfully written. Not too many characters to keep up with was an added bonus. Read more
Review:very disappointing from a novelist i have greatly enjoyed in the past. characters were dull , didn't care about them and the theme had elements of Girl on a Train in some of the characters.
I persevered just to finish it but worst book i have read this year Read more
Review:Four not particularly adventurous thirty-something female friends go white-water rafting in the deep wilderness of Maine with an inexperienced but sexy young guide. What could possibly go wrong? Just about everything. I enjoyed the descriptions of nature and found the plot engaging. Read more
Review:A fascinating, unexpected read that I thought I had figured out early on but I was wrong, and happily so. Leah is an unreliable narrator, which I normally loathe, but it fits here. My only quibble is that I think her past would have been more of an issue in the town she moved to. The school would have fully vetted her and Google would have revealed her to the rest of town. Review:Genevieve and Silas were high school sweethearts. He is now a pro football player and she a journalist. This book draws you in fast. She goes home on a family emergency and he is out on an injury. They soon realize that they never got over each other after their breakup. Awesome Read.

Review:WOW! This is such a beautiful and emotional story. Marcus and Imani have both been through some horrible experiences and I'm so glad Emerson Rose lets us read all about it. I really didn't know what to expect with a book over 100 chapters, lol. I thought there would be a lot of repetition, but that wasn't the case at all. I can't recommend this book enough!!! This is my first read by Emerson Rose, but it will definitely not be my last! I loved this book so, so much! I know it is a long b... Read more
Review:Mary Higgins Clark weaves a mystery that is so compelling that it is hard to put the book down. After reading several novels of hers I definitely think this is her best yet. Am looking forward to her next tale. Margaret May Read more

Review:I was looking for something different from the normal fare I read. That's when I accidentally fell into this book, simply because I was intrigued by the description I read on Bookbub. Unfortunately I was under the mistaken impression this would be a suspenseful, revenge tale with a feminine twist. The framework was there, but the bulk of the story revolved around the cliched and predictable romance between the victimized heroine and the bad boy, but honorable anti-hero who takes her under his wi...
