Review:I really enjoyed this book. Like all Indian stories it's sad with a lot of twists. I liked the way all the characters linked together. Great saga, it will appeal to people who like that type to story. Read more

Possession (Explicitly Yours Book 1)

Review:Good story. Great characters and it was refreshing to read a story where the girl was real. She has an attitude and flaws and she is t a size 2 virgin all sweet and innocent.
Loved it. I will definitely be reading the next one. Read more

A Secret Kept: A Novel
A Secret Kept: A Novel

Review:I pretty much liked everything about the book and what it stood for. I would recommend it quite highly just for the story line itself. Really makes you stop and think about how close minded people use to be and can still be today. Read more

the classic story from the queen of romance that you won’t be able to put down

Review:As I said before, this book, written by an awesome author, is another rousing success in a long line of successful writing by Nora Roberts and I have no doubt, and indeed hope, that she will write many more. Read more

She Was the Quiet One: A Novel

Review:Thank you Netgalley for the advance reader copy of this book.
This is my first book by this author. I own a copy of her first book, It’s Always The Husband but I haven’t read it yet.
I had really hard time connecting to these characters. I felt most sympathetic for Rose. I really didn’t care about the Donovan’s and I really hated Tracy.
I think the mystery aspect wasn’t very strong, Around chapter 11 it’s when I figured out who killed Bel. I read to about 41% then skimmed through the ne... Read more

Gooseberry Bluff Community College of Magic - The Thirteenth Rib

Review:Well-written, interesting cast of characters not a 'normal' one among them; creepy, funny, quirky, and yet also strangely realistic. I suppose it feels realistic because the characters and the setting feel so real. My only complaint is that the episodes don't come fast enough. :-) Read more

A Bone to Pick (Aurora Teagarden Book 2)
A Bone to Pick (Aurora Teagarden Book 2)

Review:Another good entry in the Aurora Teagarden series by Charlaine Harris, although disappointingly, in my omnibus edition, Chapter Eight is virtually unreadable because of formatting errors.
I like Roe Teagarden. She's a fun character, quirky, has some idiosyncrasies and not everything goes the way she wants it to. In this entry to the series, Roe has come into an unexpected inheritance, a house, and a significant amount of money, after her friend's death. She also accidentally inherits a cat... Read more

Real Murders (Aurora Teagarden Book 1)

Review:Having finished the Southern Vampire Mysteries, I needed another Charlaine Harris kick, so I decided to try the Aurora Teagarden series. It reads easily enough but it definitely lacks the excitement of the SVM. I know the two series are completely different, so they shouldn't be compared. All in all it was entertaining, but I think I will only continue the series once I'm done with the Lily Bard Series (amazing) and maybe the Harper Connely Series and am really desperate. Read more

Review:Riley has a hot as coals man in her life named Finn who doesn't believe much she says. But what a fire they have together. Best book I've read in a while. Loved every moment, every twist and turn looking for the money. But loved the hot flying sparks between these two. Goodness if he was only real and belonged to me. Read more

Review:I enjoyed the previous books in this world quite a bit and was eager to learn more about it and follow a character introduced earlier. However, if I had not read the books from the first trilogy, I would have been completely lost. That should not have been a problem at the start of a new trilogy.

Also, I found myself bored about halfway through it. I could barely get through it, though I was happy to have made the effort. I like the main characters and would like to see this trilogy conti... Read more
