Review:I was struggling to get through The Approaching Storm, so I bought Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter off of Amazon. I hated it whenever I had to put the book down to do something else. I wanted to just keep reading it, and even though the ending was a rare "bad guys win" situation, of course, the reader knows it has to be, because Darth Maul is still alive at the beginning of Episode I: The Phantom Menace, and Hath Monchar isn't among the Trade Federation Neimodians, and the blockade of Naboo and the re... Review:The movie makes more sense now! There are scenes in the book that I wish were in the movie. I did not find anything that I disliked. It was well written and did take away from the movie but added to it. I would recommend this book to any Star Wars fan. Read more
Review:This book is good ethically,it makes you consider how our country, and citizens ought to behave. You begin to realize that the premise of our Democratic government which Americans so pride themselves on is flawed. Thoreau makes you consider what it is you as a citizen, as a rebel, as a politician to for this country. As well as what you should do for yourself. You come to realize that perhaps the things we think we need are things that are not only unnecessary, but also things that tie us down. ... Read more

Review:I received a free copy of this book for my honest rating.I have long been an avid C.S. Lewis' The Narnia Chronicles fan. They were read to me as a child and re-read many times as an adult. After reading " The Librarian: Little Boy Lost ", I can say that there is another series of books that will delight children of all ages. I am 62 years old and I enjoyed this book very much, and can't wait to read the next book in this series. I love the way that it encourages the reading of other classics, an... Read more
Review:This is definitely the book to read for Percy Jackson and Heroes of Olympus fans! Mentions things that happened before either series took place and explains so much and makes things even clearer. Entertaining! And for those fans who loved the books because there seemed to be a bunch of stories jammed into one this is perfect. Great for reading at almost anytime and almost anywhere. Read more

Review:I was hugely proud of my pre-order for this. When it arrived, I couldn't wait to be the hero and give it to my daughter. I felt like a fool when she told me she already owned 2 of the 3 stories in other printed Riordan books. Sad day. She was happy to receive it, but I feel like I wasted my money. Read more
Review:This is an amazing book series and I can't stop reading the other books that come out by Rick Riordan. When I got the set and looked through the books, I noticed that the Son of Neptune pages were upside down and backwards. When you opened to the front page, you saw the last page of the book upside down. When you looked at the back of the book, you saw the front page of the book upside down. I'm not complaining at all because that means that there were probably only a couple thousand made that w... Read more
Review:I can't wait for book 3. When I got into Percy Jackson, that's all she wrote. I have thoroughly enjoyed every single one of Riordan's books. This is more of the same. I started this on my recent vacation. Took me a bit to get into it but that was mostly because I couldn't remember book 1 that well. I finished it in 5 days of casual reading. I easily could have done it faster but you know this thing about paying attention to wife and child gets in the way.
Onto Magnus Chase book 2. I waite... Read more
