Review:I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
Siobhan had me hooked from the very beginning and read nearly half of this book sitting at work during my shift. I was completely addicted to the writing and this angst driven story. This was roller coaster ride I never wanted to end, scared at every turn, and reeling when it was all over. There were so many twist and turns I'm still having a hard time dealing. I loved every minute reading this book and I need time to recuperate from that ending... Read more
Review:This book was chosen for our book club, because of the holidays we wanted something light! Without knowing that the authors write for young adults. I did complete the book, to see how all three stories connected. They were cute stories, definitely aimed at the younger audience. Read more
Review:"Because everything looks like chaos up close. Daniel thinks it's a matter of scale. If you pull back far enough and wait for long enough, then order emerges."

"Maybe their universe is just taking longer to form."
The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola YoonNatasha believes in science and facts. Her life doesn't have room for fate or destiny. Which is why it's so hard to hope for a miracle on her last day in New York City. Natasha's family is going to be deported to Jamaica... Read more
Review:It was interesting to see how Rae handled all of the upheavel and moves her family made, with her mother all the while clueless to Rae's true feelings. I liked Rae's almost unending positiveness, and eventually learned to stand her ground when the time is right and change the things in her life that needed it.
Great book for anyone, but especially those who might bond with the main character and find inspiration for their own challenges in their life. Read more
Review:These are really cute books and I love them, just FYI they get damaged really easily. Both the one I ordered and the replacement had wrinkles and tears in the spine but the envelope it arrived in was not damaged. It isn't a big deal, but a new book should actually look new when you get it. Review:Pride and Prejudice is my absolute favorite book. I’ve read it at least a dozen times, seen the A&E/BBC film version well over twice that, turn my nose up at the Keira Knightly version – removing Mrs. Hurst really changes the dynamics between Elizabeth and Caroline Bingley – and try every few years to make (or have Mommy make) my own turn of the 19th century gown; first one, third one.

Review:If you like great romance, start here. This novel has passed it's 200th anniversary. It's a wonderful romance, told with humor and a first- person view of the period.
The style is so completely different from what we are accustomed to these days. I realise some people may have a problem with the language of the time. I didn't and thoroughly enjoyed the language. It was witty and humorous.
The story stands on its own. There is no handholding, no kissing, no touching between Miss B... Read more
Review:Since there are so many different Lovecraft collections out there, it may be useful to prospective buyers to know what's actually in this one:
[First, preliminary material by S. T. Joshi:] Introduction; Suggestions for Further Reading; A Note on the Text; [Hereupon stories by H. P. Lovecraft:] Dagon; The Statement of Randolph Carter; Facts Concerning the Late Arthur Jermyn and His Family; Celephais; Nyarlathotep; The Picture in the House; The Outsider; Herbert West--Reanimator [a collected ma... Review:HP Lovecraft is a great writer in so many ways, and his Call of Cthulhu is a classic; however, At The Mountains of Madness doesn't make the grade. The basic problems is his descriptions of the snow covered desolation faced by the Antarctic explorers are endless. Time and again his story wanders off into telling the reader how abandoned the area feels, how lonely, and how fearful. How many times do I have to read how high a mountain range is, or how high the passes are within the mountain rang... Read more
