Vampire's Faith
Vampire's Faith

Review:I’m glad this series is back in action, it is one of my fav’s. The book was good, however I was a disappointed with a few things. Starting with, Faith. She wasn’t very likable. She is a doctor thrust into a new world. While having skepticism makes sense, constantly ignoring warnings does not. Especially when you’re not a fighter, but determined but put yourself in the middle of a battle. Ronan however was fun and witty, and while he could be pushy and overbearing with a mate like Faith it was un... Read more

Blind Faith (Sin Brothers)
Blind Faith (Sin Brothers)

Review:Audrey the daughter of Dr. Madison, was involved with Nate and he believed she had betrayed him. Considering how he grew up Nate's belief seems childish and dies a quick death. The motivations of the Commander are exposed and I wish the author had explored that more. They gave intense depth to a rather shallow plot. Read more

Against the Wall (Maverick Montana Book 1)
Against the Wall (Maverick Montana Book 1)

Review:3-3.5 stars

This was an enjoyable story. I liked Sophie and Jake and the secondary characters are pretty interesting as well. This is the first book I've read by this author but based on this I'm planning to read more of her work.

Sophie is a artist that works as a landscape designer that specializes in golf courses. She grew up poor and when her mom married a rich man, Sophie was shunted off to boarding school and grew up feeling unloved. Sophie has great artistic skill but does l... Read more

Blood In the Water (Destroyermen)

Review:I was - as always - eager to resume the story and find out how the plot develops. There are few surprises in this "episode", and in many ways it is good that the author has decided to just pursue the storyline open in the previous books.
it is however quite annoying that almost half of the book should be a reminder of "who did what" and "where are we" from the previous books.
This is book 11, and I would make an easy bet that the readers buying the new book have read the ones before, so wo... Read more

Texas Book 6) - Call Me Irresistible - A Novel (Wynette

Review:It's been a while since I read any Susan E. Phillips, and I wonder now why I ever stopped. What makes Irresistible so entertaining is that the zany humor and wit is balanced out by the right amount of angst and great character development. Even the supporting cast is interesting. I enjoyed this so much, I've dug up three previous SEP books and am laughing my way through them (I'm also dying to read Torie and Dex's story). Ironically, the only reason Irresistible is not 5 stars is because after r... Read more

Review:This story was exceptional, as I've come to expect from Tracie Peterson. The way she is able to twist several story lines into one major theme keeps the reader fully engaged. It's hard to put her books down, which is the types of stories I like best. Read more
