Review:This book ends quite well and leaves you with that "glowey" feeling that I look for in a romance. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to mitigate the bad feelings I got from the rest of the book.
There was very little plot to this book, but I'm OK with that if it is offset with character development. A story that's just about two people coming together is perfectly fine, as long as it drags me into it. For the first 2/3 of this book I was too bothered by the negativity of their emotions and m... Review:I'm really glad that I read a couple reviews before I got this book or I would've been really disappointed in the length of it. With that said, it was ehhhh... okay. Based on erotica and the details of such, it was pretty good (but not FSOG good). The romance factor of the short story was a little tacky to me. I've never personally experienced love at first sight, maybe others have, I'm not sure. I think it would've been smarter for Day to incorporate how he is in love with her lust, because cle... Review:Unbound has me intrigued and slightly addicted!!! The blurb already had me curious and piqued my interest in reading this book. This book was raw, sensual, and a exploration of sexuality. I love how the author was able to lure readers down the proverbial rabbit hole as we are doused with raw sexuality and passion. But as with any tale, can feelings be kept at bay when a heroine submits herself sexually to a powerful man? All I can say this book is addicting and I need more after that cliffhanger... Read more
Review:I love Sylvia Day style of writing from her erotic historical novels but I just did not like this book. I liked the concept of a group of guardians helping experience dreams in a whole new way and protecting us from our nightmares. The problem was I did not care enough about the characters - it might be for you but it missed with me. Read more
Review:Raised by an uncaring father in loneliness except for her friend the gypsy stable boy Colin, six years ago, Amelia Benbridge life turned upside down when her odious father was proven to be a criminal and her beloved Colin died saving her life. The only good to come out of that tragic period was Amelia was reunited with her long lost assumed dead sister Marie and her brother-in-law, a pirate, Christopher St. John (see A PASSION FOR THE GAME for their love story).
Now in 1780 Amelia is exp... Read more

Review:I bought this book thinking that it was a sexy, steamy story (after all, look at the cover!), but found it to be more boring and even a little strange, in contrast to engaging. I usually prefer the erotic nature of the story to evolve from the romantic pull between the characters, and it just did not do it for me with these two. Also, I did not like the hero's behavior all that much. True, I think the sex scenes were pretty hot, but that is as far as I could get with this one. Read more
Review:I know that the principal objective of the book is the romance but there must still be a story. I thought the plot was weak and unbelievable even for a tale set in the olden days. The characters are also too tame, they are sketched as individuals set in their own ways, yet they succumb to each far too quickly. Read more
Review:I might be a bit unfair to this series because I am not a fan of SMUT (porn). I got to page 4 and had to put it down cause it was very porn-like. My cousin read these books and absolutely LOVED the series but if you don't like to read porn this isn't the series for you. If you liked 50 shades, I hear this is a better story line. Read more
