Review:History, suspense, romance, spiritual insight, and great characters. So many pages, but every page worth your time. After the last television episode of the season, had to get the next book to find out what happens to Clair and Jamie. I'm on my 5th book of the series!! Read more

Review:This series of books have to be the best I had read in years. I couldn't put it down. I got so involved with the characters. I am totally addicted to the Outlander series. I have just purchased books 5-8. Have just started them and I can't imagine they could be any better than these first ones were. Read this series. You will love it.

Review:I read 5 to 7 books a week- I am an addict, But I am a fussy addict- I will put down a book the second it bores me or insults my intedlligence or is "just like" some other writer (unless it has its own tone and makes its own promises AND THIS BOOK PROMISES AND DELIVERS: suspence, mysteries galore; the fine FINE arts of communicating in well chosen words, the kind of desire to KNOW that makes me read ALL night and interfers with my meals and, at the end makes my whisper "thank you" and think "mo... Review:Una vez mas, Suzanne Collins te atrapa desde el principio. Aunque no es el mejor de los tres libros, es un puente fundamental para la tercera entrega de esta trilogía que, sin lugar a dudas, será inolvidable. Read more
Review:This book was a bit of a disappointment. It was very short; I finished it in about 30 mins. (It's true.)The pictures were good, but I wanted more pics of tributes in the arena... the book ended with Katniss in the launching room... overall, a waste of precious time and money. I wish I'd never gotten this. Is it possible to remove books from your account and get your money back too?
ps. If you're wondering why I gave this book three stars if I didn't like it, I haven't seen the movie and seein... Read more

This might have been because of my own inability to empathise with Christopher, the central character. Having said that, as you would expect from Ishiguro, the book is beautifully written. The attitudes and expressions of characters come across as historically accurate (contrary to the current trend where h... Read more
