Review:I liked the book but it didn't suck me in as fast as ON THE EDGE. It took me three days to read the first half and I almost put it down a few times. I kept checking Amazon reviews and dearauthor to see if I was missing something, lol. I am glad I stuck it out because once it got going it was great and only took about two hours to finish.
The first half of the book mainly contained descriptions of the area, bad guys, and inner thoughts of the characters with not a lot of action. There was ... Read more
Review:Ilona Andrews wrote the best book we could hope for as an ending to Kate's story. It is a must read. I don't want to spoil it for you, but trust you have to read it. There are also more books to come for the rest of the characters, so do not be sad after you are done :) Read more
Review:I loved On the Edge, enjoyed Bayou Moon, but wasn't interested in Fate's Edge b/c I didn't particularly care for Kaldar. I finally read this book b/c even an Ilona Andrews' book I'm not interested in is better than most & I was between books.
I was pleasantly surprised. I really came to like Kaldar, and he & Audrey are great together. What made the book for me, though, was George & Jack. They play an integral part of the story, and even though they are kids, their presence tru... Read more
Review:I read the first book, had NO IDEA it was suppose to be in Atlanta. I'm reading the second book and there's just so many awkward sentences in both. So many times I have to go back and reread it a few times to figure out exactly what's going on and more than once I thought I had accidentally skipped a page, it was so disjointed. Not to give anything away but an example is the horse drawn carriage ride to the werehyenas. So we've got the male in the cart, I guess, with them, some others perhap... Read more
Review:Okay yes it has a great story and great leads, but what earned it's rating is the humor. This book had me laughing so hard that I could keep reading, great book for when you need some humor in your life. Read more
Review:I really like this author and I was excited to start a new series of hers. Reagan is tough crazy woman who has had a hard life and it just gets worse. She has to teem up with vampires to solve a big mystery. It was a crazy ride and I look forward to the next one! Read more
Review:I was hooked very early on and could hardly put the book down. As soon as I was finished, I had to read the next one. Debra does a great job of adding humor to the story, and by the end you are really rooting for the MC, even though the story centers around a demon! Read more
Review:Gunmetal Magic is the book 5.5 of the Kate Daniels series featuring side character Andrea Nash in her first stand alone novel. The first novella featuring Andrea Nash was first published in the anthology "Must Love Hellhounds". You don't need to read the novella before reading this book but, it's a fantastic short story. This series takes place in Atlanta, GA after magic has brought all technology and life as we know it to ruins. There are vampires, shifters, magic users, and many other creature... Read more
Review:Excellent continuation of Kate and Curran's story! The ending left a good cliff hanger. Already wanting the next book to be written and published. The series is full of suspense, humor, action, love. Read this book, you won't be disappointed! Read more
