Review:The first book of this series is the only one I've truly truly enjoyed ot be honest so far-the second was a bit shocking. But the third-well, lemme start at the beginning.
Alanna spends much of her times fighting a recessive string of battles-they seem to lap over one another and it gets little unending after awhile. In a shortening: It gets BORING folks. I enjoyed the Bazhir-they reminded me of India and the Middle East combined. But I did get a little tired of the continual spew of Alanna ... Read more
Review:Be warned: there are spoilers ahead! First of all, I would like to say that I adore the Song of the Lioness and the Immortals quartets. They are original and just...wonderful! Unfortunately, I discovered them in 1998, around the time when Realms of the Gods came into paperback. I have been waiting ever since then for more Tortall books to come out (and was VERY disappointed when I read Sandry's Book, only to discover it had nothing to do with Tortall). So when I saw First Test in a store one day... Read more
Review:Wild Magic is the first Immortals book in the seires.A threeteen
year old named Daine was hired a job by Onua to help take a herd
of ponies to Tortall. This book was recommened to me by my best
friend.Once I got it the book pulled me into the storie.I felt
I was Daine not me anymore.I didn't think that it would have so many monsters in it,like Griffens and Stormwings. And Numair, when
they talked about he I didn't think he was the most powerful mage I was as suprised as Daine.Numair ... Read more
Review:This book was yet another classic from the Tamora Pierce we've all come to love. The reunion of all the characters is nice, even if it's not completely necessary to the story and Aly is such a fun character. Personally I found that the lucky she exerted was a bit much in finding masters both kind and unabusive, but as fate would have it, gods had a hand in it, so it's answered nicely before I got too annoyed by the unlikelyhood of it.My only real qualms about this series is that there will only... Review:This was the best book in the series and a wonderful way to bring this series to a close. Daine and Numair travel to the realms of the gods(hence the title) where Daine finally meets her father. She is reunited with her mother who has becomed a lesser god. Her mother wants Daine to live with her, but it is important for Daine and Numair to return back to their world with trouble brewing in Tortall. They must journey to the Dragonlands and run into many obstacles along the way. In the end t... Read more
Review:Wonderful storytelling as always! It was fantastic to read from a boy's point of view for the first time here, but it seriously made me want to go back and read the other books he's in. Defiantly lends a totally new perspective to the stories! Read more
Review:Veralidaine Sarrasri, commonly called Daine, receives a cry for help from the wolves of the Long Lake Pack. They tell Daine about the tree-cutting and awful amount of noise that is scaring away all of the prey in Dunlath Valley. When Daine and Numair finally arrive in Dunlath, they realize that there is much more going on then that. They find out that Lady Yolane and Tristan, Numair's old classmate, are planning something that will jeopardize Queen Thayet's throne.
In the second book of The I... Read more

Review:I started reading it because the movie was coming and the propaganda was really good, etc., but as I started I wanted to kill myself for buying the complete series... the conversations are stupid and the way they talk... specially the main character (it's a boy that thinks and speaks like a girl). I sincerely don't know if the story or the book improves upon reading it because after the first 3 or 4 chapters (I don't remember), I stopped reading it... I just couldn't overcome how tacky and chee... Read more
