Honor Bound

Review:Good character and story line development. Spent less time on development of the agency (which was developed in several other series) and more time on character development. Would recommend the book to others. Look forward to next book in the series. Read more

Lady Maybe
Lady Maybe

Review:Vulgar. I have enjoyed reading Julie Klassen books and even let my teenage daughter read them. I enjoyed the fact her books have great story lines and they were clean so that I was not worried about what my daughter read. This book made me blush. Just because you throw God in the story does NOT make it okay to throw sex scenes in. Yes, God is a God of forgiveness but I believe all the "details" of the sins could have been left out.
Very disappointed even in this particular story line it rea... Read more

The Duke (Knight Miscellany)
The Duke (Knight Miscellany)

Review:Pretty darned good book. Excellent love story with some deeper issues that were well presented. Surprisingly "meaty" in tone. I have always been pretty indifferent to this author but this made me view her in a different light. May have to give her another look. Read more

Gavin (Immortal Highlander Book 5) - A Scottish Time Travel Romance
Gavin (Immortal Highlander Book 5) - A Scottish Time Travel Romance

Review:Now having finished all five books of this series, I can say they were great! While at times you could guess to an extent of what was going to happen, they were still very interesting. I loved the descriptions of all the characters! It seemed to allow me to travel to that time as well. I would definitely recommend all these books to others that love romance as much as I do. At the Duke's Wedding
At the Duke's Wedding

Review:First three stories were fairly good -- not great because the narrative felt hurried, but certainly readable. The last story made the whole book worthless for me. The final story was about a modern day woman going back in time to the regency era and falling in love there. For those who love the idea of merging the two eras, my critique is useless. But for regency enthusiasts, this time-travel twist was unnecessary drivel. I now wish I could get my money back... Read more

The Wicked Wallflower (Wallflower Trilogy Book 1)
The Wicked Wallflower (Wallflower Trilogy Book 1)

Review:A pretty good romance, but definitely not true to the period in lack of chaperones, no posting of banns and odd timing -- too fast for the period. However the characters were solid and the love-story believable. Read more

Heiress Without A Cause (Muses of Mayfair Book 1)
Heiress Without A Cause (Muses of Mayfair Book 1)

Review:The story with its various chapters was well written and a delight to read. I thought I knew what would come next in the plot but there was always an interested twist.

I'll gladly continue to read this author hor's books. Read more

Born to be Wilde (Wildes of Lindow Castle Book 3)
Born to be Wilde (Wildes of Lindow Castle Book 3)

Review:Eloisa James never disappoints. Parth’s Story is well-written with plenty of humor, interesting characters and a crisp pace which keeps me turning pages. My only complaint is that I have to wait for her next book to be published. Read more

A Curious Beginning (A Veronica Speedwell Mystery)
A Curious Beginning (A Veronica Speedwell Mystery)

Review:I rarely do this. Once I started reading this book, I spent the better part of the last day and a half reading it. A Curious Beginning of a bad habit for me. I will go on to the next book in a few hours at least. Read more

A Perilous Undertaking (A Veronica Speedwell Mystery)
A Perilous Undertaking (A Veronica Speedwell Mystery)

Review:Thouroughly enjoyed this second installment in the series. Took a little while for the plot to pick up and was a bit slow in a few places, but the excellent characters of Veronica and Stoker made it a worthwhile read. Read more
