Historical Romance
Review:Mostly good, up until the heroin turns into a cotton-headed-ninny-muggins. I cannot stand people who run headlong into danger with no logical reason. The lady is reunited with a father and runs away, directly from the marital bed, because . . . Heroism? Utterly stupid, hamfisted reasoning. Read more
Review:The story moves the reader with passion, love and twisting outcomes from the beginning to the end.... I have just purchased the "Blood of Roses" for the next saga of Alex and Catherine. Marsha Canham holds your attention constantly, and if you enjoy these be sure and read "The Wind and the Sea" and "Across A Moonlit Sea". mm Read more
Review:The Trouble with Being Wicked, Naughty Girl Book 1 by Emma Locke
1840 Celeste Gray and her friend Elizabeth are just carrying items into her new house. It's dilapadated and Liz can't wait to get out of the molding place.

Review:I thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful love story. The passionate love stirred a lot of emotions as well as brought tears to my eyes. Love ultimately wins and brings true joy and happiness. I look forward to reading more of Jennifer McNare's books. Read more
Review:I really enjoyed this book. It had just enough of everything. Mystery, intrigue, romance, humor & justice. It is a feel good story of people turning their life around. Light on the sex but plenty of chemistry. Read more
Review:I truly enjoyed this book. It kept my intrest from beginning to end. The characters and the issues were relevant even today even though the the events took place during the era of the horse and buggy. It had everything that I love in a novel: love, marriage, betrayal, death and healing. I love Sylvia McDaniel's work and will check out more of her novels! Read more
Review:I do love the character development with the ladies. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I felt like the men could have more character than they do. They are a bit drab and boring, whereas our heroins are fighting with swords. I don't see them as an equal match. Read more
Review:My first exposure to this book was through Lisa’s awesome review. For the most part, it lived up to the hype and many five star ratings like Lisa’s. Yet, there were times where the book fell into romance novel pitfalls that stopped me from giving it the same.
First off, it definitely deserved all the stars for an emotional journey that will leave you breathless. At times, the book rem... Read more

Review:Quinn is a good writer, when it comes to narrative she is one of the few romance writers whose sentences never strike me as awkward or unnatural. This story was a bit predictable but a fun read. It also sets up the plot for her next book, characters that were more memorable than these. Definitely worth the read if you want to laugh and curl your toes! Read more
