Historical Romance
Review:I should have known by the title, but the reviews convinced me to buy it anyway. This story was so ridiculous I cannot even begin to tell you how ridiculous it was. They used modern phrases and terms and there is absolutely no hint of the correct historical context. The time period was set so that the plot device of marriage could be used, but the way people spoke and behaved with absolutely modern. There is no understanding of the class differences, no understanding of the history, and no under... Read more
Review:This is such a wonderful and enticing read that keeps you on your toes and desperately trying to get to the end to see if the characters have a happy-ever-after! This is really presented in such a wonderful way. To see the wealthy noble dedicate his life to protecting and becoming everyone's hero. Really, really enjoyed and highly recommend. Read more
Review:I loved this new series. Aidian and LiLi story was wonderful. The love between the guardian of the stone and a devoted mother who would do anything to protect her child. Even though this is a new series, I loved how it blends with the MacKinnon series. That was such a great and unsuspected part of this series. Loved it. I just wished it had been longer. Read more
Review:Others have written about the basics of the book, so I won't go in to that part of the book. Just want to say it was very enjoyable, I was able to get it free from Kindle and eagerly look forward to downloading the other two books in this trilogy and other books written by this author. Thanks for your story telling Lara Adrian. Read more

Review:First must say that Coreene Callahan is one of my favorites (Especially the Dragonfury Series) and this story did not disappoint. Cute romance with lots of suspence thrown in. But what was I thinking signing up for a kindle serial! That was pure torture waiting for a week before the next episode was delivered! Never do that again. Read more
Review:OMG, really. ... without going into the plot of the book, I will say I'm on chapter 16 and they were supposed to be going back to Scotland and haven't made it past one overnighter....too much garbage about what the main characters think....ugh will not finish it....stupid....too bad cuz the author can write but she definitely needed some guidance with cutting out the repetition of what each character thinks about the other. too boring....
