Ministry & Evangelism
Review:Although advertised as new, the book had several pages that had writing and underlining on them. I had intended this book as a gift. It was still a good deal for the book, I just would encourage more accurate review before posting the book for sale. Read more
Review:I read this book slowly, taking in every word and idea and piece of Scripture. Jess and Hayley have put to words the struggle so many Christian women have felt- the struggle of feeling both too much and never enough in their communities. They tackle real-life situations that women face and cover the answers to this problem in Scripture, encouraging the reader to a wild and free life in Christ.

Review:Charles Spurgeon is definitely a preacher's preacher and a fisher of men. He articulates very well the objective and strategy of winning souls to God. Most importantly, he emphasizes prayer and self-searching. Read more
Review:Pastor Groeschel is a talented writer. He uses anecdotes that blend humor and human drama to illustrate the many experiences that contaminate our souls. I have been challenged to restore my relationship with Christ with my eyes open to the obstacles I have allowed to come between us. Read more

Review:One reviewer put this book in his top 50 favorite. I would have to say that it is in my top 5. In God's gracious providence, I first read this book just after becoming a Christian 30 years ago. It both set a standard and provided a doctrinal framework by which I would discern the spiritual and theological value of books for the next 30 years.
Theology? For too many people, that's a bad word. For Packer, it's "the study of God"; what more noble pursuit is there?

Review:Piper is a very interesting writer and if you are a Reformed Baptist, I'm sure you have enjoyed his writings. More broadly speaking, I'm sure that if you have been even remotely involved in church ministry, you have either heard of him in some capacity, read his books, or both. This book, dealing with missions, was an interesting read for me. I was required to complete a critical analysis paper on the missiological and theological implications in this book, set forth for the fulfillment of Chris... Read more
Review:Weight of glory is like most CSLewis writings in that it reveals unparalleled Christian insight and a depth of wisdom beyond anything usually experienced. He is criticized only by minds much smaller than his. Read more
Review:Grief is a five-letter word that evokes four-letter words. It hurts! And it changes everything. This book helps the grieving realize their feelings are normal, and it helps those who care about grieving people understand what they're going through and know how to help them.
This book is a gift that is going to be helpful to so many! Read more
