Review:It has repeating chapters that makes enjoying the story really hard in the first few chapters, but I really like the story. Close to like Chaos Seed and End of Online, but in this game-story the MC has a group of friends playing with him who are friends offline also. It has repeating chapters that makes enjoying the story really hard in the first few chapter. . This is a action packed very entertaining story that I hope the Authors continues the story. Review:Recently started reading litrpg books and this is one of the better ones. Entertaining and a story that keeps you captivated from beginning to end. This is a book that gets better the further you read. Can’t wait for book # 3!!! Read more
Review:I actually read this book in the wrong order, having picked it up after reading AO: Evolution. Because of that, I went into this book with a fair idea of what to expect, knowing how Riley’s quest would end. It meant that this book felt less inspired than some of Bagwell’s earlier works, and it certainly felt more predictable, but that could very well be due to my own mistakes in reading order.
It was something of a relief to get out of Jason’s head for a while and get to explore some of h... Read more
Review:I couldn't put it down. I've been waiting for this book for a while now, and it didn't disappoint in the least. Character and plot development continues at a great pace, and some interesting new characters and twists are thrown in. Highly recommended! Read more
Review:Fun concept, good read, good character development, one of the plot twists was a bit predictable. Main Characters were believable, more development of 2nd tier characters would be better. Will definitely read more of the series. Read more
Review:I love the character development and the motivational insight. And even more action than book one. I have to thank Tim Burton though for my ability to love and feel the friendship and loss for the character Rex. Can't wait for book 3. Read more
Review:I loved the book and knew it deserves all the stars I could give it. I think it's a tad bit draconian to compel people to write reviews if they want to award stars but whatever. The author is great and well received, and the book is compelling, hard to put down, and the shear number of directions that the story line can follow, is astounding. Read more
Review:There were some spelling and grammatical errors that are always distracting in published work. Near the end the pace was very slow, too descriptive for that stage of the story. There were times the characterisation felt sketched in and not artfully shown through action or dialogue. It's clearly a book 1. With all of that said, it was a fun quick read, I will still think about the characters now I'm done. If you like the synopsis, read the book. Read more
Review:This book is the best in the series of short story collections issued by DelRey books, and probably contains the best collection of classic HPL stories available today. Here you have the best and most revered stories from Lovecraft's prime period of creativity. You can clearly see how influential this work has been for all horror fiction that has been written since. Clive Barker and Stephen King are definitely fans, and even movies like "Poltergeist" and "Ghostbusters" are clearly inspired by Lo... Read more
Review:Finally! I've been after HP Lovecraft's works for years but never got around to it. When this Knickerbocker Classics edition showed up I had to get it.
The book is gorgeous to touch, the printing is fantastic, the paper is thicker than expected and the slipcase, though dented in one corner, is thoroughly sturdy and will protect the book for years to come.
I'm gonna make my way through it now - years in the waiting. I'm so excited! Read more
