Review:Unfortunately as is always the case with Christie, the detective is privy to a variety of clues unavailable to the reader. Otherwise fun to read. She still holds the record for the best mystery ever written (And Then There Were None) Read more
Review:I absolutely loved this short story by Lynsay Sands. It picks up the story of a beloved character, Tiny, in her on-going Argeneau/Hunter series, and wraps up some previous loose ends. For someone who is reading the Argeneau books it's a wonderful peice of the ongoing mystery in the Hunter series, though for someone unfamilar with it, there could be a few mysterious moments.
I do think though that a casual reader will enjoy this story even if they aren't a fan of the Argeneau books.

Review:This was an excellent set of science fiction short stories from the past. I came back to science fiction after a 40+ year hiatus, and the stories were as wonderful and full of enchantment as I remembered. I recommend the book for the thought provoking ideas and for the link to the present day world. The themes of the stories and the problems of the world do not change. Read more
Review:First let me say that I am a HUGE fan of the Legend of Drizzt series. I have all of the novels and one of the graphic novels which included The Dark Mirror. It was interesting to see the differences between the graphic novel and Salvatore's penned work.
I'll be honest, there was not a story in this collection I did not like. As mentioned above, the contrast between what I had seen in the graphic novel version of The Dark Mirror and Bob's writing was interesting, but in my humble opinion, ... Read more

Review:If you've read Salvatore's other Drizzt books, you know what to expect. This continues his saga and sets the stage for some very exciting future events. Without mentioning major spoilers, I can say that this novel features a few things that I've been waiting for. We see character growth for Gromph, Wulfgar and Regis leave the picture, and we finally see how Drizzt handles a debilitating injury.
This lost a star for two reasons. First, it spent too much time with characters we don't care a... Read more
Review:So for anyone stupid enough to have thought Drizzt actually died at the end of the last book, big surprise he didn't. Not only that but all the other Companions of the Hall have been reincarnated, show up 21 years later looking pretty much the same and with most of their equipment (or better), in order to look out for Drizzt during the latest Forgotten Realms Cataclysm (i.e. Edition of D&D). I guess that is Drizzt's reward for a century of moaning and mourning.

Review:*Some spoilers*
R.A Salvatore brings back his signature character Drizzt Do'Urden in what may be one of the greatest challenges the dark elf faced yet. In the previous book a catastrophe in the form on demon lords was unleashed upon the Underdark and now the dark elves for a moment must forget their schemes and think on how to deal with the powerful intruders.
For Drizzt he is persuaded by his friend Jarlaxle into a quest to the Underdark to free a friend whom he believed was dead.... Read more
Review:Boring, he ignored the best characters he has...it was sadly like the last few books, yet even worse. I found myself speed reading to get to something I cared about. There are no redeaming points besides Jarlaxle showing up and Kimmuriel, heck even Athrogate...but they are hardly even a part of the story. It is a tired worn out story..read some David Daglish or Brent Weeks novels if u want some good epic fantasy. Read more
