Review:Absolutely awesome series. Character development continued through all four books as did the plots and story line. I confess I was wondering how Ringo would end the series, but he did a great job wrapping up 99% of the different plot lines. The only question I was left with was what happened to Tom Smith?
I'm rather disappointed that there aren't any more in the series.
Definitely a must read if you like good science and research with your Zombie Apocalypse Read more
Review:Good story line and is a classic 'space opera' novel. Has some good ideas and nice writing. I like that the focus of his stories is told from different character's view points. Definitely a good read Read more
Review:Ringo does Zombie Apocalypse as only Ringo can... In a tangential but VERY possible direction and the initial set-up got me to buy in all the way. Mostly well written... read like the end was delivered under a hard deadline while his editor was on vacation... I joyfully wait for the follow-up chapters. Jim Baen would have loved this one for sure.

Review:Awesome book. Dennis wraps things up very nicely despite having a lot gong on. In this series you really begin to see the incredible capabilites that a replicant could actually have. I definitely recommend reading the first two before this. Read more
Review:Overall I really liked this. some of the plot elements and dialogue dragged on a bit. I really like that as the story progress's the Flying Dutchman continues to deteriorate which limits the crews options.
One thing that really bugged me about the story is that they never investigated the mystery planet in the Roach Motel system. they are on their way to check it out and then get sidetracked and then just forget about the planet. With each book the mystery of the Elders grows. Hopefully ... Read more

Review:I found this book very interesting to read. Taking copious notes and discussing some of the points mentioned with my fellows.
This is a book that I have and will continue to recommend to my bosses, peers and subordinates alike. Read more
Review:I first read this book in a Louisiana high school history course MANY years ago, and this was my first time to revisit the work. While Warren’s book is commonly listed as a classic of political literature, on this rereading I discovered a much deeper philosophical vein. I am probably practicing literary criticism & philosophy without a license here, but I believe the book – in addition to prose that verges on poetry – is a profound reflection on human nature. Furthermore, I am not certain th... Read more

Review:This is the second book of Turtledoves that I've read and although not as good as Guns of the South it's still good. From reading some of the reveiws, I feel like not enough people respect Turtledove as much as they should. The book was good but I will admit it had problems. Lincoln's poem at the beginning was brilliant! I can not express that more. I also loved his map! I also loved how he handled the reason with which the Confederates win Antietam. One thing though is that Turtledove show... Read more
