A second helping of bad jokes and great story. Follow these hero's through the galaxy leaving behind death and destruction while fumbling through day to days activities on a suicide mission to save the earth.

Good story line, lots of action, many moments of "how the hell are will they ...." The Alien AI is awesome smart and a real smart ass. I loved him. This is a smart well written treat for sci-fi lovers.

The concept of an arrogant AI and lesser races in conflict is combined in a compelling story. I read both in e form and enjoyed them. I will buy paper copies as soon as the author gets a new proofreader. The e version has more typos than my entire library of over 400 books combined. Otherwise I would give it 5 stars.

There are a lot of good science fiction out there and this is one of them, but very few mix in humor to make the story more entertaining. I loved this story and am looking forward to the next one. The only downside for me was the errors that better proofreading would have caught.

Even though the tech details are a little overwhelming at times, this series is full of adventure, intrigue, and wonderful characters! And let’s just say that the relationship between Joe and Skippy will keep you reading for sure!

This was a entertaining story with a decent pace to it.
The main problem is that the editing is so bad that at times it breaks your train of thought and you have to struggle to figure out what was meant.
Did the author even read the final story? Because I don't think he did.

Love this series. Author did an amazing job being serious and keeping it light with modern day humor. The narrator does an amazing job of vocalizing the emotions of the author. I haven't laughed so much with a book series.

I laughed a lot. Really looking forward to reading the next book. I mean, we gotta find out what happened in the past. I'd also like to know why Skippy is such a jerk. 4 stars because 5 should really be reserved for nothing but the VERY best.

Extremely BORING.nothing new.No new concepts. Far too many inane exchanges between Skippy and Barney/Colonel, with NO exciting alien interactions. RECOMMEND SKIPPING BOOK TWO! book one was awesome. I'll let you know what book three turns out to be!

Joe is the most patient soldier who has the heavy duty to take care of one very smart AI who has missing memories, who teams up with Joe to save Earth, find out where Skippy came from. These two books are so fun you will have a hard time putting them down.

I begins well enough, but then slows down drastically. One or 2 discoveries that make you want to know more - but the "more" is not addressed in this book.
Not exactly boring, but not that interesting either.

Just like this first book in the series, this book deliver sci-fi with a sense of humor that rivals that of Jim Butcher. For readers new to sci-fi or long time readers, I would highly recommend this series and it's audiobooks.

It was interesting to read Book 2 on Kindle after listening to Book 1 on Audible. I was not let down! The hilarious dialogue between Skippy the A.I. and Colonel Joe leaves me wanting more, and I really enjoyed reading about the biology and history of the planet Newark. Thanks Craig Alanson for an entertaining read!
