Nine's Legacy (Lorien Legacies - The Lost Files Book 2)
Nine's Legacy (Lorien Legacies - The Lost Files Book 2)

Review:I think I was expecting more information about nine. For example where he was when one, two or three died, what was his reaction to that, who received them on earth when they arrived, his life on lorien... maybe in the next book we'll find out. Read more

The Forgotten Ones (Lorien Legacies - The Lost Files Book 6)
The Forgotten Ones (Lorien Legacies - The Lost Files Book 6)

Review:So the story continues...This novel is told from the point of view of Adam from The Fallen Legacies. It is great to see what has happened to him since we last left the renegade Mog. This short novel has Adam helping the Loric cause by going on a mission to rescue some captive Chimaera with an unlikely side kick. I love these short pieces and love that they flesh out the cast of characters involved in the Lorien Legacies. My usual complaint still exist in that the novel only took up 80% of the... Read more

The Last Days of Lorien (Lorien Legacies - The Lost Files Book 5)

Review:I liked this Lost File but it really left me with a lot more questions than answers. I really liked seeing the interactions between the Cepans and learning about life on Lorien. I love Adelina's original name. Read more

The Search for Sam (Lorien Legacies - The Lost Files Book 4)
The Search for Sam (Lorien Legacies - The Lost Files Book 4)

Review:Every book I read is awesome! The author is great at keeping up the suspense. Wish would continue movies and advertise better this time. Everyone I advise to read these books loves them also. Keep up the great work! Read more

United as One (Lorien Legacies)
United as One (Lorien Legacies)

Review:Great series overall. I enjoyed reading all of them. This last chapter (book) wrapped things up nice and neatly. My only gripe is the books were too short. I blazed through United As One in a couple of hours. It would have been nice if there was more sustenance in each of the novels. It's not like there was a lack of things to write about and elaborate more thoroughly. One of these books is equal to about two chapters of Atlas Shrugged, which I just finished reading while waiting for this last b... Read more

The City of Brass: A Novel (The Daevabad Trilogy)
The City of Brass: A Novel (The Daevabad Trilogy)

Review:Written beautifully, captivating, intelligent, exotic. Our heroine is just beginning to learn who she is, who she can be. I am sure the author will continue to take us on that magic carpet ride in the next book. I cannot wait. Read more

Kin of Kings (The Kin of Kings Book 1)
Kin of Kings (The Kin of Kings Book 1)

Review:I am pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this book. Not since Anne Mccaffrey have I been immediately hooked by the characters and story line. Very similar to binge watching on Amazon, I will seek out Mr. Narro's other books and read them all! Read more

An Urban Fantasy Novel (The Ruby Callaway Trilogy Book 1)
An Urban Fantasy Novel (The Ruby Callaway Trilogy Book 1)

Review:I enjoyed the struggles that the characters had to work on throughout the story. It built sympathy and connection to the characters. I would recommend reading the prequel first. I will definitely be reading the next book. Read more

The Second Half of 'The Book of the New Sun' - Sword & Citadel
The Second Half of 'The Book of the New Sun' - Sword & Citadel

Review:While I cannot say this book is the best that I have ever read, it definitely ranks in the top 98% or so. Gene Wolfe delivers a stunning narrative of Earth in the far-distant future. Although Shadow and Claw (the first two books in the series) have a strong fantasy/science fiction edge, they surpass the traditional mold of Tolkein and take the genre to a new contemporary level. This is one of the novels that bridges the gap between Science Fiction and legitimate Lichrachure. If you have... Read more

Crucible: Star Wars Legends
Crucible: Star Wars Legends

Review:It was okay but kind of disappointing. I think that it was written to put an end to these characters story lines without actually killing them off, which is ok because I don't want to see them die but other than that it didn't seem to have much of a point. Read more
