Action & Adventure
Review:This series started out great. I was really hooked on the first book. This one, the author describes life on the ships of the US Navy. More than half the book is spent on mundane day to day details of helicopter flying, ship maneuvers ! The space could have been used to describe the Chinese war efforts rather than page filler. Book moves extremely slowly. Only towards the end does the action pick up just to end on another cliffhanger. Till the next book then ? Read more
Review:The books are so rich and there is such a connection to the characters. This offers you stories without meaning. It doesn't further define celaena as a character. It doesn't enhance your reading of the books. In this instance I think the mystery behind these stories in the books are better served then revealing them in a depthless novella. Read more
Review:The Crow brothers are awesome! I loved Jet, Tulsa & now Rivers. Who doesn’t love a hot rocker! Rivers was so much more.
A childhood love that got a second chance. Rivers & Stella’s Story has so many emotions throughout it. The love shared between them in the past was a wonderful part in flashbacks. The scenes in the present where they find the love & trust in each other again just melts your heart.
Stella has taken on so much, was broken & found the strength to go ... Read more

Review:I found this book both entertaining and thought-provoking and would highly recommend it to anyone craving a page turner that doubles as an excellent conversation starter (...have you read....?)
At some points overly simplistic and uneven, “The Power” still provides readers with an interesting take on transformative power. Read more
Review:This story is so traumatizingly sad. I watched the movie and I decided to read the book but it breaks my heart. The sadness of the dogs loyalty to humans despite all that's happened is just heart wrenching.
There are characters who speak in heavily accented English but while it slows you down in some parts but its far from unreadable- later editions address this and there's a glossary where you can look it up.
Sad sad story about animals and people and how we interact with each oth... Read more
Review:If you like a good litrpg tale about a character that doesn't instantly become a broken destroyer of worlds while still being tough and powerful with great abilities that put him a bit ahead, this is the book. Read from start to finish without stopping and I have ADHD...enough said. Read more
Review:It has repeating chapters that makes enjoying the story really hard in the first few chapters, but I really like the story. Close to like Chaos Seed and End of Online, but in this game-story the MC has a group of friends playing with him who are friends offline also. It has repeating chapters that makes enjoying the story really hard in the first few chapter. . This is a action packed very entertaining story that I hope the Authors continues the story. Review:I didn’t care much for the SAO anime. I was a little apprehensive about buying this book. It was a really light read, as it only took me a few hours to finish it. I was surprised that I liked it as much as I did. Their were a couple of minor differences from the book and the episodes that adapt this book. I believe that at least half of the anime came from this book, and the other half came from short stories.
The quality of writing was good. I thought the translation was well done. The only ... Read more
Review:I loved the book and knew it deserves all the stars I could give it. I think it's a tad bit draconian to compel people to write reviews if they want to award stars but whatever. The author is great and well received, and the book is compelling, hard to put down, and the shear number of directions that the story line can follow, is astounding. Read more
