Before I Go: A Book Club Recommendation!
Before I Go: A Book Club Recommendation!

Review:I found them to be quite satisfactory. I would have made them a couple of inches taller. But all in all they finished off my borders well and made everything look complete. They are strong and sturdy as well as hooked together. I was well pleased with them. This review is for my garden edging not for this book!!!!!!! Read more

The Zahir: A Novel of Obsession
The Zahir: A Novel of Obsession

Review:This book irritated me. There were sections I wanted to keep reading to learn the outcome BUT what a dissatisfied ending! To me, the characters were either selfish or in the case of Maria, a big masochist. Come on! Self esteem woman! Short, unexpectedly ridiculous! The alchemist? Excellent- a completely different and satisfying experience. Read more

The Rocker Who Shatters Me (The Rocker Series Book 9)

Review:Don't skip this story because of my 3 stars I gave. This Devlin & Natalie's story is so worth of your time. You gonna spend it in an amazing rock world, created by Terri. Which she always rock!

The story start's with how happy Nat & Dev is in their relationship. Which slowly becomes something special. They enjoy just being together. But one night everything shatters. Nat finds out about Zanders and Devlin's bet. Which ripped her heart out. Made her think that everything was a big ... Read more

Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction 2018

Review:I pride myself on completing books. Once I start a novel I complete it, even if I am not a fan. This is the first book I’m putting down. I read the rave reviews, saw it’s a winner of the Pulitzer Prize and was getting ready to love it. But it’s slow and painful. There is no comedy. It’s a novel of a broken man. I’m on page 65 and cannot bring myself to continue. It’s just one long sob story of numerous failed relationships. Too many descriptions and metaphors without enough substance. Maybe ther... Once Upon A Coffee (Meet Cute Romance Book 4)

Review:A stand alone read with a HEA. This story was short and sweet. I liked it and found it entertaining and leaves you with a smile on your face!! The characters were likable and you are rooting for them.

The heroine makes a blind date with an online guy. He didn't post a picture so she does not know what he looks like but he is a grad student and they seem to hit it off chatting. They agree to meet at a local coffee house, she will be carrying a book with a flower - Meg Ryan in You've Go... Read more

If You Dare (The MacCarrick Brothers Book 1)
If You Dare (The MacCarrick Brothers Book 1)

Review:I read this series backwards and I'm glad I did that because the third in the series is just charming but if I'd started with this one I'd have never gotten to the third. This book irritated me to no end.

(Spoilerish) The heroine hates, and I mean hates, the hero for the entire first half of the book. Not just pretends to hate him while secretly desiring him but hates him all the way to the bone. It is really hard to enjoy a book when for the first 180 pages the lead character is spitt... Read more

The Darkest Warrior (Lords of the Underworld)

Review:Wow...I'm amazed that I enjoyed this book as much as I did! For not being the biggest fan of The Darkest Promise and thinking all the LotU books were becoming repetitive, The Darkest Warrior shocked the hell outta me!
I didn't think I would like seeing Gillian with anyone but William (since as we all know the trajectory of their story has been leading us to believe a romance would bloom once she turned 18) but I happily stand corrected.
Gillian and Puck just fit perfectly together. They ma... Read more

Rock Wedding (Rock Kiss Book 4)
Rock Wedding (Rock Kiss Book 4)

Review:What a wild ride –I knew that Sarah and Abe’s story would be emotional but wow! I was taken on their journey in their relationship –their past and how that ended painfully and then how they got back together and kept in each other’s lives. That hadn’t really opened themselves up to each other the first go round in their marriage and when they got divorced, it was painful and yet the love was still there. Abe made a lot of mistakes in their very short marriage and regretted that he didn’t try har... Read more
