Review:Rooms: A Novel uses a death and a funeral to bring together a small family, full of of mistrust and disappointment, and a haunted house. The ghosts in the house are vague, tied to the house and each other for reasons that are not quite clear. The people--a mother, her adult daughter, adolescent son, and young granddaughter, are full of longing for things they can't have, things they are missing, and things they've unknowingly lost.

Review:Such a good read. I loved Callum--the kind of man anyone would be lucky to have. Lilah's character was great. I appreciated that Kelly made her strong and independent--though I found her to be a bit stuck up (but still very well done.) The banter between the two characters was captivating--from their first meeting, I fell in love with their conversation and was hooked. Review:When I started Bolt I couldn't put it down. This is my first super hero and Angel Payne book and I loved it.

Review:Some typos. You can tell this is a new writer. At first glance seems like a want a be Fifty Shades knockoff. Both inexperienced virgin girl vs sex-god older man. Both set in Seattle. Review:There were some good graphic descriptions of horror in the book. Otherwise, I didn't care much for it or the language, which I'm sure would be more appealing to teenagers. There is also a small part about torturing an animal and I see no need in fiction to write details about that at all. I just didn't care much for the book, even though the story line had such promise. Had the characters been more average or and kind and innocent, I think it might have appealed to me. Read more
Review:This was a highly sexual book. I really enjoyed how Violet and Adam met and the automatic connection they had with each other. If you like a lot of sexist a great storyline then this book is for you. And of course you can't have the good without the bad. Violet and Adam had their fair share of bad times. So this is not a totally happy book.

Review:I'm really glad that I read a couple reviews before I got this book or I would've been really disappointed in the length of it. With that said, it was ehhhh... okay. Based on erotica and the details of such, it was pretty good (but not FSOG good). The romance factor of the short story was a little tacky to me. Review:Really?? Who finds female lead characters who allow themselves to be emotionally abused appealing? Add to that is the distaste of allowing rape fantasies to be ok. For anyone who has been raped this is a dishonor. Does not belong in female genre books. Read more
