Review:I liked this novel because it was sad and joyous. Finding Christ in death, and becoming strong in faith is what helped the heroine in this novel. It quoted so many bible scriptures that wove around the story of several families. Definitely a plus five stars. Read more
Review:The writing of this book was a hindrance in finishing it. Although the story itself was good, the grammar and sentence structure were, in a word, atrocious. Any decent book editor would pick these up immediately, so I'm surprised it was published in this form. For this reason, I will not read any more of her books. Read more
Review:There are some typos which can be distracting, but overall I thought it was not bad. I didn't have a problem with the length because it's supposed to be a short story, which was what I wanted. I like to read during my lunch hour and this fit that time perfectly. It says it's a short story in the description, I'm not sure why other readers would be surprised by that. It tells you the number of pages in the description.
The author really should have fixed all the typos by now though, and t... Read more
Review:Love this book, but a little short. Would have liked to see it a little longer. Good clean romance with a little bit of christian tone of forgiveness. Always live finding a new author to fit into that profile. Definitely will be looking for others. Read more
Review:Tressa, forced into marriage when her father dies in a mining accident. It seemed her late husband owed everyone in town. She had no way to pay them. Mac falling in love with her and haunted by his own fathers deceit and swindle. Collin just a small boy of Tressa's. How will God work this out? Read more

Review:Introduction:
Three exceptional children, one feisty schoolteacher, a bounty hunter turned “retriever,” an unscrupulous man, and a jealous man make for one interesting book. Kidnappings, acting, gorgeous piano playing, inventions, romance, and all out brawls (from the schoolteacher no less) are all involved in this story. Will Charlotte convince Stone to let her keep Lily? Will they be able to keep Lily safe?
Characters: 1/1
The characters were diverse, amazing, and well developed.... Read more
Review:Seven years ago in the midst of Wilhelmina’s society debut she turned down a proposal of marriage by Edgar. Wasn’t that the intent of the social balls? Rejected to the nth, Edgar left NYC. But he’s returned. Why? With Wilhelmina’s family wealth lost and herself lowered to a working girl, she figures she deserves whatever he dishes out.
"At Your Request" is the introduction into the “Apart from the Crowd”.
This story is now also available in a 3-novella collection for readers preferring pap... Read more
Review:"Where We Belong" is historical fiction set in 1860 to 1890 in Chicago and all over the world. The framing narrative occurred in 1890 as the four main characters try to reach the monastery at Mt. Sinai, but the weather and uncooperative guides are making that difficult. We get flashbacks to when Rebecca and Flora were young (in 1860) on up to the current situation to show how events brought them to undertake this quest. Near the end, we also get flashbacks for their two servants, Kate and Soren,... Read more
Review:The original storyline was a good idea, but the characters don't like each other throughout the whole book, and then all of a sudden they're in love? This book mimics the thoughtless romance books that the flighty sister reads. Read more
