Review:I absolutely adore Jodi Picoult and was ecstatic to find out she had a new book however this one left me wanting more. More explanation, more story, just more. I felt very unfulfilled after reading it. Perhaps if this was a short story to go along with a longer volume I'd eventually get my "fill" and rate this much higher. Read more
Review:I was really impressed with this book. I thought the author did a great job conveying the anarchy that would take over shortly after an environmental crisis. It does seem like a plausible phenomenon but I felt that it was a little weird that everyone knew what was happening right away. In reality, I'd expect it to take a little longer to sink in. I really liked the characters. Maybe it's just the 'girl' in me but I would have liked a more descriptive transition from friendship to romance. I thin... Read more
Review:Stone barrington is Stuart wood's best character in any of his novels. The character is funny and always getting into a situation that usually his friend Dino bachetti has to help him out of. Stuart wood's is the only writer that I buy his books as soon as they are available. And I read his books over and over. Read more
Review:"Atticus" is written by Sawyer Bennett, and it is a stand alone novel. It features Hazel Roundtree and her dog, Atticus.
I simply adore this novel! It was so heartwarming, so beautiful... just everything you want in a story that will bring a smile to your face. Normally when I read stories, it's either in the 1st person, 3rd person, or the different point of views of the hero and heroine. In this story, it's a little different! We get the point of views from both Hazel and Atticus. That, ... Read more

Review:Dark and disturbing. And kind of gross at times. I was more enthralled with the writing style than I was with the story or the characters. It was interesting on some level because I knew that there was something going to happen at the end. Not for the faint of heart. Read more
Review:I got this book for a college class. I personally didn't like the book but i'm sure someone else would. It wasn't in the best condition, but considering the age of the book is kinda understanding. The shipping was on time as well. Read more
Review:A very intriguing book that gradually draws the reader into the 1920's world of bootleg gin and the relationship between two young typists in a NYC police precinct. A taste of the Great Gatsby with murder thrown in on the side. Worth the read. Read more
Review:I got used to the lack of quotation marks.... but why all the unnecessary commas and sentence fragments? Were they on purpose or doesn't she know how to punctuate? If is she doesn't, why didn't the editors correct it all? I was hoping after reading all these reviews that there was probably some hidden meaning that I didn't get..,.. evidently not. Strange book. Review:The author presents the contents as being factual until the postscript in whihc she writes it is totally fiction. She seems to not be willing to start with the fictional comment and cause the reader to question the contents of the book.after it is read. Read more
