Review:My daughter in law just made a trip to NYC and ate at Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill and I thought that it would be fun to get a cookbook from his restaurant. The book is excellent and the service was great as well. Read more
Review:I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy
The cookbook had a variety of recipies that were simplistic if you had the ingredients
First off I am a baker and love to use my pressure cooker for meals the ingredients that were called for are not the typical American pantry items I’m not talking about the main ingredients I’m talking about vanilla paste nope didn’t have that so crossed those recipies off my can do list
Then went looking for something else that one called for gh... Read more
Review:this is a terrific instant pot cookbook! it is direct, concise, well written and thoughtful. not only does it provide recipes for delicious food (ground beef shawarma, pablano and chicken soup) it is an instructional guide for instant pot cooking. after buying my copy, i’ve since purchased two more and given them, with instant pots, as gifts. a must have for every instant pot cook. Review:As a Southern church musician, reared by a grandmother born in the late 1800's the details of the customs, societal expectations, family eccentricities and community fixtures are "dead on." (pun intended) The friendly(?) competition between churches and individuals illustrates the status-consciousness of the matrons in towns and small cities. The recipes remind me of the comfort food of my youth. And no one has more characters than South.
If you are from the South, you'll recognize the peo... Read more
Review:Loved the pictures and recipes that this book had, but it still lacked substantial recipes. I would say it would be more like a book of just side dishes and little desserts. I would recommend as a book in addition to another one or for someone that has multiple. I bought it for someone who was going vegan and it wasn’t very helpful. Read more
Review:These recipes all sound delicious! I would recommend this to all my friends who like to cook. The cheese recipes are definitely worth getting the book. Also, the pizza recipes sound fabulous, I can't wait to try them. Read more
Review:Beautiful cook book! Love the pictures, so I know how things are supposed to turn out. Only things I don't like is that there are no calorie information or macros listed. Also, overall prep and cook time would also be helpful. Read more
Review:Unfortunately, I inadvertently purchased an "uncorrected" proof of the book. I won't do that again as it was annoying to read... not properly edited and contained many repetitions and spelling errors. I expected more recipes... the title and premise of the book misrepresents what is clearly the author's enhanced personal journey of genealogical pursuit. Having done a similar search of my own ancestry, I found Twitty's journey interesting, but not 21 chapters worth. Read more
Review:To begin this book was shipped well and on time. The corners were a bit pushed in but was not a problem to me, just seemed like it may have been dropped. The book itself is amazing! Let me elaborate a bit. When I ordered this it was actually under the assumption it was recipes for crock pot cooking (beef and vegetables, chicken, or ham) this was not the case. This book has EVERYTHING! From cobbler to Mexican food and there is no easier way to get things done than throw it all in a pot and ... Read more
Review:Been doing keto 35 days. Bought for some new ideas and I am pleased with the recipes. Everything needed seemed to be keto basics I already had in my pantry or fridge which makes it super convenient especially on work nights. I highly suggest Read more
