Review:I don't usually reach for thrillers, but I am so glad I chose to pick up The Last Mrs. Parrish. This story gripped me in its clutches from the first page and did not let me go until the very last page. I literally read this cover-to-cover in one day. I could not put it down.
This book is told from two different women's perspectives - Amber and Daphne - the woman who has it all and the woman who wants it all. But appearances can be deceiving. I don't want to say too much, other than the tw... Read more
Review:I love JE Rain's Samantha Moon series so thought I would read something else he wrote. I could not put it down. He writes so well and draws you into the characters so that you feel like you know them, and fall in love with them a little. Please read this fantastic story...you won't regret it. Read more
Review:Fantastic non stop action with twists and turns to keep you hooked. To additiion of two gorgeous males makes the read all the more enjoyable. I love how Sloan's powers are progressing and developing and the introduction of different dangers from her own mother to the devil. I can't wait for the next in the series! Read more
Review:I began reading this one night and was hooked right away. I love the way the author narrates the story through the husband. All his thoughts are known as he thinks, speaks, and we are left wondering if his wife is thinking what her husband thinks she's thinking. A page turner for sure. One of the most interesting and entertaining books I've read in a very long time. If you like psychological thrillers, don't miss this one. Read more
Review:This is my second series with Dark and she does not disappoint! Well written story with terrific, engaging characters. Bought the second book immediately after finishing this one....so good!!! Anxious now for #3. Read more
Review:I wish I could give this more stars, but Mr. Magnarella broke a serious rule; THOU SHALT NOT PLAGIARIZE ! There was no need. He's a decent writer with a unique spin on his main character.and that's a rare thing to find in the urban fantasy genre nowadays. I started out excusing some of the thefts as coincidence, but the miniature replica of the city slammed the thefts home. This is a shame as the book is decently written, has interesting characters and a nicely paced plot. However, every tim... Read more
Review:I didn't expect to like this book. By the time I finished it, I wanted more. There were lots of reminders of the Iron Druid books by Kevin Hearne. The book was easy enough to read the pace kept me turning pages. The "druid" in this story is likable, while trying to distance himself from his heritage in a world where no one will let him. This book has an aged mentor, werewolves, Fae, and gnomes. What could go wrong? Well, how about an inner demon? Read more
Review:I read voraciously, usually one book a day, two if the book is under 400 pages. That being said, sometimes it takes a couple of books to make a book series one I would want to continue reading. Some don't make it past the first chapters. This book immediately grabbed my interest, never losing it. I knew by the last twenty pages I was going to be disappointed that the story was great, the characters more than likeable, and a direction I wanted to continue to follow... however that last page read,... Review:Terribly written, choppy and confusing. Jumps from one situation to another without any transition to indicate a change in location or situation, leaves you wondering if something got left out in the printing. Multiple typos also detract. I won't buy another book by this author. Read more
Review:Took a long time to get through and the story never really got off the ground. The author obviously know his history, and I suppose he’d like us to know it, too. But ramming something down the reader’s throat is never a good idea. It didn’t lift the story and really made no difference. Disappointed! Read more
